The game would start off good for the home Cardinals as they would get off to the quick 1-0 lead on a goal from Nicole Unsworth at the 2:12 mark of the first period. Then at the 8:36 mark of the period the Cardinals would extend there lead to 2-0 on the Ivy Boric goal. Then to finish off the scoring in the opening period Julia Masotta would light the lamp at the 15:34 mark on the powerplay to take a 3-0 to end the first period. To start the second period Ivy Boric would get her second goal of the game just 1:31 into the period for the 4-0 lead. Then at the 7:13 mark of the second period Clara Wall would score on the powerplay for the 5-0 lead. Plattsburgh State's Ivy Boric (19) setup for the one-timer goal and get the lead in the game. It would be the start of the last weekend of the regular season as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Buffalo State Bengals in a pair of games in NEWHL action. The game would start off close as the teams would be felling each other out and the lone goal of the first period as IVY Boric would score at the 15:17 mark. In the second period, the Cardinals would start to pull away as they would get three goals in the period from Taylor Whitney and Annie Katonka (twice) and take a 4-0 lead into the third period. In the third period, the dam would break and the Cardinals would flood the net with five goals from Sara Krauseneck, Mattie Norton, Taylor Whitney (twice and third of the night), and Riley Calhoun to secure the 9-0 win. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host cross-state foe the Buffalo State Bengals in SUNYAC Men's Hockey action. The game would start off good for the home Cardinals as they would get the opening goal just 2:23 into the game on the Paul Bryer for the 1-0 lead. The Bengals would answer back in about the same amount of time at the 5:06 mark from Nikita Kozyrev to tie the game at one. The Bengals would keep fighting and take the lead at the 12:04 mark of the first on the Tyler Vanuden for the 2-1 lead. The Cardinals would keep looking for the equalizer and they would get that equalizer at the 5:36 mark of the second period on Joey Mancuso's second goal of the night and tie the game at two. Then with just under three minutes left in the period, the Cardinals would regain the lead at 3-2 on the shorthanded goal by Pavel Kharin. The Bengals wouldn't let that stand though as they would for the third time on the night tied the game this time from Andrew Logar at the 7:26 mark of the third period. Although the Cardinals would put the Bengals away once and for all with their second short-handed goal of the game at the 14:29 mark of the third period thanks to Trey Thomas and secure the 4-3. In the winning effort, Jacob Hearne would make 17 saves as they go to 12-7-3 on the season and clinch their spot in the SUNYAC Tournament in a couple of weeks. Gallery

The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would face off with the Buffalo State Bengals in SUNYAC as they would face off for the second time in a week. It would be a tight game through the first half as both teams would have their chance to break it open but no luck and the Cardinals would have a 37-35 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same as no one could break away and tie for the half at 40 each and the Cardinals would hold on for the 77-75 win. It would be tight through the first quarter the Cardinals would have a slim 17-16 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter it would be a different story as the Bengals would have shutdown defense and win the quarter 13-3 and the Cardinals would trail 29-20 as they head into the intermission, In the third quarter the offenses would both show up and the Cardinals would have a 21-18 quarter but they still would trail 47-41 as they head into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would do their best to get back in the game with another 21-18 quarter. Although it wouldn't be enough as they would lose 65-62 and fall to 5-10 on the season and Hope Sullivan would lead the way with 13 points. Gallery
