As for the game it would be SUNYAC foes Plattsburgh State Cardinals hosting the Cortland State Red Dragons as they battle for second place in the conference. The Cardnals would use the home court to take the early control of the game as they would race out to the lead and have a 49-39 lead at the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half the Red Dragons would do there best to make a game out of it and win the second half 38-32. Although it would not be enough as the Cardinalsd would take the 71-67 victory. In the winning effort the Cardinals would go to 18-4 while Jonathan Patron would lead the way with 23 points. #9 Cornell Big Red Vs St. Lawrence Saints - February 9th 2019

Cornell's Matthew Galajda (35) with the save by using the whole body as part of a save 20 save night for the shutout. The #9 Cornell Big Red would host the St. Lawrence Saints in ECAC Hockey action at Lynah Rink in front of just over 3900 fans. Michael Regush would give the Big Red the early 1-0 lead five minutes into the game on the power play. Then at the ten minute mark of the first period the Big Red would extend there lead to 2-0 on another powerplay goal. The game would remain there til the 11 minute mark of the second period when Sr. Lawrence's Andrew Mcintyre would light the lamp to cut the lead in half at 2-1. The Big Red would regain the two goal with 4 minutes left bin the period on Mitch Vanderlaan goal to make it 3-1. Although that would be all from the Saints as the Big Red hold on for the 3-1 victory. In the winning effort Cornell goes to 15-6-2 on the season as Matthew Galajda makes 20 saves in the shutout victory. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State'd Lytrell Walker drives to the basket down the lane and takes the contact to head to the foul line. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons in SUNYAC action. The game would be tight through the first quarter and be tied at 14. In the second quarter the Cardinals would start to pull away with a 21-16 quarter and have a 35-30 lead at the intermission. When teams came back for the third quarter the Cardinals would take control and win the quarter 17-11 and have a 52-41 lead. In the fourth quarter the Cardinals would just mantian the lead with 19-17 quarter for the 71-58 victory. In the winning effort Tatlor Durnin would lead the way with 23 points as the Cardinals go to 9-13 on the season.Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Nicole Unsworth (20) with the quick wrister over the goalies shoulder for the goal. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Oswego State Lakers in NEWHL action. The Cardinals would get the opening goal of the game from Ashley Songin at 13:47 of the first period. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 at 3:05 of the second period on Nicole Unsworth. Then just under a minute later the Cardinals would go up 3-0 Abby Brush goal. The Cardinals would end there scoring at 14:17 of the second period on the Kaitlin Mead-Drew goal and secure the 4-0 victory. The game would go back and forth throughout the first with many lead changes and when all said and done it would be tied at 41 at halftime. When the teams came back out for the second half it would be more of the same the Cardinals would pull away late for a 47-41 half to secire the 88-82 victory in the winning effort Jonathan Patron would lead the way with 34 points as the Cardinals go to 15-4 on the season.Gallery

Plattsburgh State Lyrell Walker takes flight with the runner along the baseline. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Brockport State Golden Eagles in SUNYAC women's basketball. The game would be tight throughout the first quarter and the Cardinals would have the slim 15-11 lead. In the second quarter the Eagles would play scrappy and win the quarter 17-11 and the Cardinals would trail 28-26 at halftime. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Cardinals would play shutdown defense and win the quarter 12-8 and the Cardinals would take a 38-36 lead into the fourth quarter. In that fourth quarter the Cardinals would hold serve with a 16-14 quarter and the Cardinals would secure the 54-50 victory. In the winning effort the Cardinals go to 8-9 on the season as Taylor Drunin leads the way with 22 points in the win.Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Nicole Unsworth (20) sweeps the puck around the Buffalo State goalie for the first period goal. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Buffalo State Bengals to finish of a weekend doubleheader in the NEWHL in front of 345 fans. The Cardinals wouldn't waste anytime as they would get three goals in the first period from Ashley Songin, Annie Katonka and Nicole Unsworth for the 3-0 lead. In the second period the Cardinals would strike for two more coming from Mackenzie Millen and Annie Katonka to make it a 5-0 Cardinals lead. The Cardinals would add one more in the third period from Moe Tsukimoto to secure the 6-0 victory. In the winning effort the Cardinal goaltenders would combine to make 16 saves in the shutout as the Cardinals go to 13-2 on the season. Gallery.

Stinger and Zane Rettew stand it straight on the nose with the stoppy during the 2 wheel skill contest. It would be the open stop of fourteen on the Monster Jam Arena Championship Tour. There would be eight monster trucks at the event along with the quad racers. The monster trucks would compete in Racing, 2 Wheel Skills, Donuts and Freestyle action. As for the quad racers and would compete in standard and obstacle course racing. As for the winners on the day in monster trucks, it would be Grave Digger in racing and 2 Wheel Skills, Stinger Unleashed in Donuts and Scooby-Doo in Freestyle. As for the quad racing, it would go to Stinger Unleashed in Obstacle Racing and Bad News Travels Fast in Racing action. When the dust would settle on the day the Stinger Unleashed would be crowned the Overall winner and take the early lead in the season championship.Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Antonie Desyoners (9) right on the door step of the goal going for his second goal of the night. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Middlebury Panthers in non conference action in front of 1500 fans at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena. The Cardinals would strike first 90 seconds into the game with Greg Malafronte for the 1-0 lead. Then at the 11 minute mark of the period the Greg Malafronte would strike again this time on the power play to make it 2-0 Cardinals lead. The Panthers would get on the board with 4 minutes left in the period to make it 2-1 Cardinals at the end of the first period. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 3-1 on Antonio Desyoners eight minutes into the period. The game would stay there til the third period when the Panthers would explode for five goals in the period and the Panthers would get the 6-3 victory. In the losing effort Brandon Wells would make 21 saves as the Cardinals fall to 6-6-1 on the season. Gallery.
