The 97 car hooks a root and flips over and gets serious hang time with a bunch of cars coming down including Jason McClatchie (70) and Brent Jarvis (32). It would be the annual Porier's True Value Enduro 125 presented by Rene Repair and this years edition would have 95 cars. With the 95 cars on the track when the race started you can imagine the first few laps would be interesting with much contact and many dead cars scattered around the track. The early race leader would Josh Laporte and would have the lead til midway through when he would make contact with on the dead cars. Inhering the lead would be Michael Wright and he would have the lead until the closing laps when a slower car would take him out. Taking over the lead and hanging on for the win would be Nick Heywood and Michael Wright would rally back for second place and finishing out the top three would be Cody Kilburn. With the end of this race will close out the 2019 season at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway.Gallery

Ausable Valley Patriots @ Saranac Chiefs - September 28th 2019

Ausable Valley's Eli Douglas (12) stretches out for the catch over the middle with Saranac's Connor Recoere (18). It would be week four of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and are saturday tilt would feature the Ausable Valley Patriots @ the Saranac Chiefs. The game would start off with a bang as Eli Douglas would run back the opening kickoff 92 yards and give the Patriots the 6-0 lead. The Chiefs would come right back and score four minutes later on a 2 yard run by Hunter Devins and would convert on the two point conversion and take the 8-6 lead and that would end the scoring in the first half. The Patriots would regain the lead at 13-8 on the 14 yard pass to Eli Douglas. Then just two and half minutes later the Patriots would extend there lead to as Eli Douglas would strike again this time for 73 yards and make it a 19-8 game. Then with four minutes left in the game the Patriots would put the icing on the cake with Nate Doner's 15 yard run for the 25-8 lead and hold on for the victory. Beekmentown Eagles @ Peru Indians - September 27th 2019

Beekmantown's Andrew VanNatten (25) with the breakup on the pass intended for Peru's Ian Joy (10). It would be week four of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and it would be the classic matchup under the lights as the Peru Indians would host the Beekmantown Eagles. The game would start of like the classic as there would be no score after the first quarter. The Eagles would finally break through four minutes into the second quarter as Connor McGinnis would score on a 23 yard run for the 6-0 lead. Then at the 7:44 mark of the 2nd quarter the Eagles would double there lead on a 54 yard pass and catch to Kaden Myers for the 12-0 lead. Then with just over two minutes left in the half Myers would score on a 11 yard run for the 19-0 lead at the half. When the teams came back for the second half the Eagles would keep up the effort as they would extend there lead to 26-0 on a one yard sneak by Nathan Finley. That would end the scoring on the night and the Eagles would get the 26-0 win. In the winning effort the Beekmentown Eagles go to 3-1 while the Peru Indians fall to 2-2 on the season. Gallery.

Super Dirtcar Series Malta Massive - September 21st 2019

Demetrios Drellos (111) celebrates on the roof for his first ever Super Dirtcar Series win and a the granted start in the Billy Whittaker 200 at Oswego. It would be the third day of a three day weekend of racing at Albany Saratoga Speedway for the Malta Massive Weekend. On tap for the last day of racing would be the Super Dirtcar Series, Dirtcar Pro Stock Series and the Limited Sportsman Modified and there would be around 100 cars in the pits for the night. As for the mains on the night first up would be the Limited Sportsman Modified and a driver would come out of hiatus Derrick McGrew would be leading most of the main event until he had car trouble and it shut off down the back stretch and Dave Richner would inherit the lead and cruise to victory. Next up would be the Super Dirtcar Series and there 100 lap event on a very fast track. It would be a very clean race out there with the high speed track as there would only be two cautions on the night. Demetrios Drellos would start out and would say see ya later to the field. That is not to take away from the raceas there was many battles around the track on the multi groove track. In doing so Drellos would get his first ever Super Dirtcar Series victory and the start in the Billy Whittaker 200 at Oswego rounding out the top three would be a great battle between Billy Decker and Mat Williamson. Next up for the Super Dirtcar Series will be Dirt Week at Oswego where Matt Sheppard will have 90 point lead. The last race on the night would be the Dirtcar Pro Stock Series and it would be a battle between the Canadian invades and the Americans as 32 cars would take the green for the 35 lap main event. When the dust would settle Luke Horning would get the win after charging from eight starting spot but that would not be without challenge from Jay Corbin and Josh Coonradt. Gallery

Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Peru Indians - September 20th 2019

Peru's Austin Carpenter (3) with the crunching hit on Plattsburgh's Kyle LaValley to break up the pass. It would be week of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season. As the Peru Indians would host the Plattsburgh Hornets in there first ever game under the Friday Night Lights. The game would start off good for Peru as they would get a safety 1:40 into the game for the 2-0 lead. Then about half through the first quarter the Indians strike with a 9 yard pass to Ian Joy for the 9-0 lead. That is where the game would stay till the third quarter as there would be no scoring as the defenses stepped up. Just under 5 minutes into the third quarter the Indians would score on a 6 yard run by Zach O'Connell and extend there lead to 16-0. Although the Hornets wouldn't be out done as they would take the kickoff 83 yards for the Ian Detulleo score and make it a 16-6 game. Then just a minute after that the Indians would extend there lead to 23-6 on the Austin Carpenter 73 yard catch run. Although the Hornets wouldn't go quietly as Foster Ovios would score on a 13 yard pass to make it 23-14 with just over ten minutes left in the game. Although the Indians would hold from there and get the 23-14 victory. In the winning effort the Indians go to Gallery.

Mohawk Nationals Night 2 - September 14th 2019

Billy Dunn (49) and Matt Williamson (88) battle for the lead during the Mohawk 100 as part of the Mohawk Nationals. It would be night number two of the Mohawk Nationals and it would feature the Can Am Mod Lites, Dirtcar Sportsman Modified North and the Super Dirtcar Series. Between the three divisions there would be a total of 90 cars in the pits. As for the racing on the track it would be the Can Am Mod Lites up first for 20 lap and the win would go to Jeff May as he would dominate the race for the win and also win the series championship. Next up would be the Super Dirtcar Series and the Mohawk 100. The early lead of the race would go to Demetrius Drellos. Although that would be without challenge and Billy Dunn would take the lead around lap 40. Although he would be challenged by and passed by Matt Williamson for the win and get the grauntee spot at the Billy Whittaker 200 at Oswego. Then the last race of the night would be the Dirtcar Sportsman Modified North for 50 laps and Robert Delormier and lead from green to checker for the win although it would be not without challenge as Shane Pecore and Brianna Ladecieur would be up there for the win. Ticonderoga Sentinels Vs Beekmantown Eagles - September 14th 2019

Beekmantown's Aidan Hoogkamp (28) with the catch along the numbers for the first down. It would be week 2 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and we would have the Ticonderoga Sentinels traveling to Plattsburgh and taking on the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would take early lead at 3:33 of the first quarter at 7-0 on the Andrew Vannatten 40 yard pass. The Eagles would double there lead to 14-0 on a Connor McGinnis 73 yard run for the score. In the second quarter the flood gates would open up and the Eagles would score twice times while the Sentinels would get one to make it 29-7 at the half. Scoring for the Eagles would be Carson Lapier and Connor Mcginnis while Schlogel scores for Ticonderoga. When the teams came back for the second half the Eagles would keep the pedal down and Carson LaPier would score again to make it 36-7. The game would stay there til Ticonderoga's Benedict scores halfway through the fourth to make it 36-12. The Eagles would put the icing on the game with a 34 yard run by Jonah Phaneuff to secure the 42-12 victory. In the winning effort the Eagles go to 2-0 while the Sentinels fall to 0-2 on the season. Plattsburgh's Ovois Foster (32) with the pass tip on the ball intended for Ausable Valley's Louis Rivera (3). It would be week 2 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season and we would have the Ausable Valley Patriots traveling to the Plattsburghs Hornets. It would be home opener for the Hornets The Hornets would get the opening score of the game 3:39 in on a Ian Detuello 1 yard run for the 7-0 lead. The game would stay there til 12 seconds into second quarter when Jayvon Carpenter would break out a 30 yard run for the 14-0 lead. The Patriots would cut the lead in half on Nate Doner's 7 yard with 3 minutes left in the half to make it 14-7. Although the Hornets would march down the feild and Ian Detuello would score again on a 3 yard pass to make it 21-7 to end the half. When the teams came back for the second half the defenses would step up and there would be no scoring. So the Hornets would get the 21-7 victory and go to 1-1 while the Patriots fall to 0-2 on the season. Gallery.

Moriah Vikings Vs Saranac Chiefs - September 7th 2019

Saranac's Bryce Smith (7) with the catch along the sidelines and breaks tackle for extra yards. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Moriah Vikings in the opening saturday of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season. The Vioings would get 6-0 lead on Maddox Blaise 3 yard run in the first quarter. Although the Chiefs would answer right back with a 34 yard touchsown pass to Bryce Snith. The Vikings would regain the lead on the Deihl touchdown pass at 12-6 and take lead into the half. In the second half the rain would be coming doing at a good clup making it diffcult for both teams. The Chiefs would tie the game up midway through the third quarter with a pass to Connor Recore. In the fourth quarter Bryce Smith would get an interception and return it for a touchdown for the 20-12 lead and win. In the winning effort the Saranac Chiefs start the season at 1-0 while Moriah Vikings start at 0-1. Beekmantown Eagles Vs Ausable Valley Patriots - September 6th 2019

Beekmantown's Kaden Myers (2) fighting for extra yards and the first down. It would be the opening night of Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and it would feature the Beekmantown Eagles traveling to the Ausable Valley Patriots. The Patriots would get on the board first as they bid for the upset on the Luis Perez 45 yard touchdown pass to take the 6-0 lead with 2:45 left in the first quarter. Then about half way through the second quarter the Eagles would take the 7-6 lead on the Cory McGinnis 39 yard run. When the teams came back for the second half the Eagles would take little time in extending there lead to 14-6 on the Garrett Stevens 19 yard run. Then with just over 4 minutes left in the third the Eagles would extend there lead to 20-6 on the Cory McGinnis 5 yard run. The Patriots would not go quietly as they would score as the fourth quarter started on the Eli Douglas 34 yard pass to make it 20-12. Then just over three minutes later the Patriots would strike again on the Luis Perez 54 yard pass to make it 20-18. Although then with just over two minutes left in the game Kaden Myers would score to make it 27-18 and secure the victory for the Eagles. In the winning effort the Beekmantown Eagles go to 1-0 as they play Ticonderoga next week. As the the Ausable Valley Patriots fall to 0-1 as they will get Plattsburgh next week. Gallery.
