When the teams would return for the second half the Cardinals would start to pull away and win the half 52-40 and secure the 103-86 victory. In the second period, the Cardinals would score three times from Kayla Menneghain, Courtney Moriarty and Meghan Krause along with a lone Bears goal for a 4-1 Cardinals lead after the second period. In the third period, the Cardinals would add two more from Melissa Sheeran and Mackenzie Millen to secure the 6-1 victory. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #5 Oswego State Lakers in the SUNYAC Semi-Finals. The game would be close and high scoring throughout the first half but the Cardinals would have a 40-34 lead at the intermission. In the second half, the high scoring affair would continue and the Cardinals would win the half 49-42 to secure the 89-76 victory. The #2 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Buffalo State Bengals in a NEWHL game. The game would start slow as the Cardinals would get the lone goal of the period from Kerri Corcoran. The game would remain there until 7:05 of the second period when Buffalo State would equal the game up at one. Although from there the Cardinals would light the lamp three more times in the period from Courtney Moriarty to make it 4-1 after the second period. hen the teams came out for the third period the Cardinals offense would go on fire and score five goals. All five goals scorers would be different from Melissa Sheehan, Baye Falagan, Lizzy Viola, Annie Katonka and Sarah Wolf for the 9-1 victory. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons as part of the last week of the regular season. It would be a low scoring game after the first quarter as the Red Dragons would have an 11-9 lead. In the second quarter the scoring would pick up but the Red Dragons would expand there lead with a 19-14 quarter for a 30-23 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the trend would continue as the Red Dragons win the quarter 22-16 and take a 52-39 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would do there best to make up the deficit as they would win the quarter 20-13 although it wouldn't be enough as the Red Dragons win 65-59. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons in the first game of the final weekend of the season. The Cardinals would jump out to a big league in the first half and not look back as they would have a 46-28 lead at the break. When the teams came for the second half the Red Dragons would do there best to make a game of it but it wouldn't work. As the Cardinals would win the second half 49-46 and secure the easy 95-74 victory. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Fredonia State Blue Devils in SUNYAC action in the home finale of the season. The game would be tight throughout and remain scoreless until 11:33 of the second period when the Blue Devils score to take a 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would tie the game up with 4 minutes remaining left in the second period on Rich McCartney's goal. Then at the 3:40 mark of the third period, the Cardinals would score twice in 20 seconds to make it 3-1 on Jesse Nehr and Rich McCartney's goal. The Blue Devils would score at the 12-minute mark on a penalty shot to cut the lead in half at 3-2. Then in the closing minute of the game, Aryton Valente would score the empty netter to secure the 4-2 victory. Mike Falanga would get the scoring going early as he would give the Cardinals a 1-0 lead two minutes into the game. Although the game would stay like that until the 9:51 mark of the second period when Liam Lawson would score on the power play to make it 2-0. Then in the closing five minutes of the period the Bengals would score twice on the same power play to tie the game up heading into the final period. In the final period, the Bengals would take the lead on a goal in the final four minutes to make it 3-2 and would later add the empty netter to secure the 4-2 victory.
