It would be the opening night of the NCAA Tournament and the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Nicholls Bisons in a matchup of top 25 teams in the country. It would be a very tightly called game with a lot of offensive firepowers. The Cardinals would take a 51-46 lead into the intermission. When the teams would return for the second half the Cardinals would start to pull away and win the half 52-40 and secure the 103-86 victory. In the winning effort, Jonathan Patron would lead the way with 21 points as the Cardinals advance to the second round against Union College. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Meghan Krause (47) puts in the rebound over the down and out the goalie. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #4 Potsdam State Bears in the NEWHL semi-finals. The Cardinals would get the lone goal of the first period from Abby Brush at the 9:30 mark. In the second period, the Cardinals would score three times from Kayla Menneghain, Courtney Moriarty and Meghan Krause along with a lone Bears goal for a 4-1 Cardinals lead after the second period. In the third period, the Cardinals would add two more from Melissa Sheeran and Mackenzie Millen to secure the 6-1 victory. In the winning effort, Kassi Abbott would make 17 saves as the Cardinals advance to the conference finals against Oswego State next weekend. Gallery

The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #5 Oswego State Lakers in the SUNYAC Semi-Finals. The game would be close and high scoring throughout the first half but the Cardinals would have a 40-34 lead at the intermission. In the second half, the high scoring affair would continue and the Cardinals would win the half 49-42 to secure the 89-76 victory. In the winning effort, Jonathan Patron would lead the way with 35 points as the Cardinals advance to the SUNYAC Finals. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Courtney Moriarty (18) with the goal on the breakaway over the shoulder of the goalie as part of the hat trick night. The #2 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Buffalo State Bengals in a NEWHL game. The game would start slow as the Cardinals would get the lone goal of the period from Kerri Corcoran. The game would remain there until 7:05 of the second period when Buffalo State would equal the game up at one. Although from there the Cardinals would light the lamp three more times in the period from Courtney Moriarty to make it 4-1 after the second period. hen the teams came out for the third period the Cardinals offense would go on fire and score five goals. All five goals scorers would be different from Melissa Sheehan, Baye Falagan, Lizzy Viola, Annie Katonka and Sarah Wolf for the 9-1 victory. In the winning effort, Kassi Abbott would make 19 saves as the Cardinals go to 20-2-2 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Taylor Claire (21) with the off-balance jumper along the baseline as part of 5 point night. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons as part of the last week of the regular season. It would be a low scoring game after the first quarter as the Red Dragons would have an 11-9 lead. In the second quarter the scoring would pick up but the Red Dragons would expand there lead with a 19-14 quarter for a 30-23 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the trend would continue as the Red Dragons win the quarter 22-16 and take a 52-39 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would do there best to make up the deficit as they would win the quarter 20-13 although it wouldn't be enough as the Red Dragons win 65-59. In the losing effort, Bela Depasquale would lead the way with 20 points as the Cardinals fall to 8-16 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Eric Mack (23) glides in with the easy layup as part of a four-point night. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons in the first game of the final weekend of the season. The Cardinals would jump out to a big league in the first half and not look back as they would have a 46-28 lead at the break. When the teams came for the second half the Red Dragons would do there best to make a game of it but it wouldn't work. As the Cardinals would win the second half 49-46 and secure the easy 95-74 victory. In the winning effort, Eli Bryant and Jonathan Patron would lead the way with 22 points as the Cardinals go to 19-4 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Rich McCartney (27) with the goal as he slides in to extend the lead. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Fredonia State Blue Devils in SUNYAC action in the home finale of the season. The game would be tight throughout and remain scoreless until 11:33 of the second period when the Blue Devils score to take a 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would tie the game up with 4 minutes remaining left in the second period on Rich McCartney's goal. Then at the 3:40 mark of the third period, the Cardinals would score twice in 20 seconds to make it 3-1 on Jesse Nehr and Rich McCartney's goal. The Blue Devils would score at the 12-minute mark on a penalty shot to cut the lead in half at 3-2. Then in the closing minute of the game, Aryton Valente would score the empty netter to secure the 4-2 victory. In the winning effort, Lawson Fenton would make 37 saves as the Cardinals go to 12-11 on the season. Gallery.

Saranac's Johnny Devins with the shoulder toss on Peru's Kellen Blake during the 152lbs finals. It would be Section VII Wrestling Championships from Saranac with all five schools competing for the right to head to the state finals in Albany. At the end of the day and the fifteen weight classes were done the team champion would be Saranac. As for the outstanding wrestler at meet, the win would go to Chris Lapier from Ausable Valley. Plattsburgh State's Liam Lawson (39) draws back and puts it in the top shelf for the Cardinal goal. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host SUNYAC foe Buffalo State Bengals in conference action. Mike Falanga would get the scoring going early as he would give the Cardinals a 1-0 lead two minutes into the game. Although the game would stay like that until the 9:51 mark of the second period when Liam Lawson would score on the power play to make it 2-0. Then in the closing five minutes of the period the Bengals would score twice on the same power play to tie the game up heading into the final period. In the final period, the Bengals would take the lead on a goal in the final four minutes to make it 3-2 and would later add the empty netter to secure the 4-2 victory. In the losing effort Jimmy Peorda would make 35 stops as the Cardinals fall to 11-11 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Eric Mack (23) hangs from the rim as he slams home two of his twelve points. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Oswego State Lakers in SUNYAC play. The game would be tight throughout the first quarter and the Cardinals would trail 38-35 after the first half. When the teams came back for the second it would be a different half as the Cardinals would cross to win the half 39-22 and in turn win the game 74-60. In the winning effort, Jonathan Patron leads the way with 27 points as the Cardinals go to 16-4 on the season. Gallery.
