The five section VII schools would meet at Saranac for the 2013 Section VII Wrestling Championship. There would be many good matches throughout the day with many of them going the distances and some needing the extra period. As a team Peru would defend there sectional title with a score of 244, 2nd Beekmentown 203, 3rd Saranac 169, 4th Northern Adirondack 155 and 5th Ausable Valley 79. We would like congratulate all the individual winners and wish them the best of luck at the State Championships in Albany at the Times Union Center on February 22nd and 23rd. Gallery

It would be Section VII Wrestling Championships from Saranac with all five schools competing for the right to head to the state finals in Albany. At the end of the day and the fifteen weight classes were done the team champion would be Saranac. As for the outstanding wrestler at the meet, the win would go to Chance Lapier from Ausable Valley. It would be Section VII Wrestling Championships from Saranac with all five schools competing for the right to head to the state finals in Albany.
