Plattsburgh State's Nicole Dimmers (5) with the diving stop and throw from her knees to first to get the runner. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would celebrate the career of there seniors before the doubleheader against the Geneseo Knight. In the first game, they would need extra heroic's Katie McNally has sent a triple down the right-field line to score the winning run as the Cardinals win 3-2 in nine innings. In the second game, it would be all Geneseo for the beginning on as the Cardinals would fall 9-3. The Cardinals now stand at 17-10 overall and 6-3 in the conference. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Erin Florkiewicz (11) slides in safe at the plate on the wild pitch that went all the way to the backstop. In a couple of great games the Cardinals would split the doubleheader with the Golden Eagles. They would come up just a little short in-game as they fell 2-1. In the second game, it would come to the 7th inning still tied as Erin Jamieson would hit a walk-off single to score the runner from third to get the 4-3 win for the Cardinals. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Andrew Gooch (00) gets back in at first ahead of the tag on the pickoff attempt. The Cardinals would split the doubleheader against the Blue Devils losing game 8-7 and coming back to win the nightcap 6-5. The Cardinals would score five in the 9th inning of game 1 to come up just short, Then in the second game, they would jump out to an early 3-0 lead and then have to hold on late to get the 6-5 victory. With the split, the Cardinals go to 22-6 on the season and 3-3 in the SUNYAC. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Casey Brighton (45) with the tag at the plate on the New Paltz's baserunner trying to score from third on the tag up off the fly ball to left. In a doubleheader that turned into a slugfest, the Cardinals would split on the day losing the 1st game 14-9 came back though in the 2nd game to get the 15-9 win. There were many home runs hit throughout the day between the two teams adding to the run outburst. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Donny Coolidge (26) slides in safe under the tag at home during game 1 of there doubleheader with Fredonia State Blue Devils. The Cardinals would go on to get the sweep of the Blue Devils winning both games by a score of 2-1. Game 1 the Cardinals would win in a dramatic finish with a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth. Then in the second game, it would be a great pitchers duel with the Cardinals the upper hand and improving there record to 5-4 in SUNYAC play. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Mat Blessing (11) with the shoot in close on the Norwich goaltender and crashes the net for the rebound. Plattsburgh State would fall short in their effort to get back to the National Championship 3-2. Norwich would get on the board first just over five minutes into the first period. The score would remain 1-0 until the thirteen-minute mark of the second period when the Cardinals Andrew Willock tied the game at 1. Norwich would take the 2-1 lead into the final period when they scored in the final minute of the second period. Norwich would extend there lead to 3-1 eight minutes into the third. Mike Kavanagh would score for the Cardinals to make it 3-2 with six minutes setting up an exciting finish. Although the Cardinals would fall short 3-2 and their season would come to end for the Cardinals in the Final Four with a record of 19-6-4.Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Kate Fairfield tries pushes the puck by goal line on the doorstop, unfortunately, the Norwich goaltender was able to pin the puck on the post to deny the cardinals. Plattsburgh State would fall to Norwich 3-2 when Norwich was able to get two goals in the final 90 seconds. With the Cardinals, season comes to end and finish with a 23-3-2 record. Gallery

Chateaugay's Eric Dwyer (15) slices through the Germantown defense down the lane and lays it in for the basket. Unfortunately, Chateaugay would come up on the short end as they would fall to Germantown 56-48. It was a very close game throughout that seen many lead changes. Germantown would pull away in the final few minutes of the game and Chateaugay just had no answer. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Steve Thomas (23) splits the SUNY IT defenders in the lane and lays in the floater for the basket. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would end up on the short end of a 71-65 and would bow out in the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament. The SUNY IT Wildcats would jump on the Cardinals early in the half and just couldn't get the lead. The Cardinals season came to end in the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament and finish with a 21-8 record on the season. Gallery.
