Plattsburgh's Meghan Sullivan (17) battles for the room in the corner on the centering attempt. It would be a C.V.A.C. match up between the Plattsburgh Hornets and Ausable Valley Patriots The Hornets would get the opening goal in the 12th minute from Brina Michaels for the 1-0 lead. The Hornets would extend the lead to 2-0 in the closing minute of the first half when Brina Michaels would get her second goal of the game. The Hornets would jump right out in the second half and extend the lead to 3-0 when Madeleine Woodward would score in the 41st minute. In the 48th minute, Madeleine Woodward would strike again for the Hornets to make it 4-0. Then in the 63rd minute, the Patriots would get there lone goal of the game to make it 4-1. Then the 71st minute the Hornets would add one more from Tenzin Pema to secure the 5-1 victory.

Saranac's Jacob Nolan (13) with the catch along the sidelines and turns upfield for the big gain. The Saranac Chiefs would open up there season at home against the Plattsburgh Hornets. The Chiefs would strike quick for the early lead on the 60 yards run by Luke Maye for the 6-0 lead at 1:54 of the first quarter. The Chiefs would extend there lead to 14-0 on a Jacob Nolan 61 yard touchdown at the end of the quarter. In the second quarter, the Chiefs would extend there lead to 22-0 on an Andy LaBeau interception for a touchdown. At the end of the Horners would finally get on the board to make it a 22-8 Chiefs lead at the break. The Horners would come out and try and make a game of it as they would return a fumble for a score to make it 22-14. Then with about two minutes left in the game, the Chiefs would extend there lead 28-14 on a Jacob Nolan score. With that, the Chiefs would get the 28-14 win and go to 1-0 as the Hornets fall to 0-1. Saranac's Isaac Graham (88) with the two-handed catch headed towards the sidelines for the first down. The Saranac Chiefs would open up there season at home against the Plattsburgh Hornets. The Chiefs would strike quick for the early lead on the 60 yards run by Luke Maye for the 6-0 lead at 1:54 of the first quarter. Beekmantown's Nick Wilson (21) with the fadeaway jumper in the paint for the basket. The #2 Northeastern Clinton Cougars would meet up with the #6 Beekmantown Eagles in the Section VII Class B Semi-Finals. The Eagles would have upset on there mind early in the game as they would have an 11-5 lead after the first. In the second quarter, the Cougars would start to claw there way back wining the quarter 10-7 although the Eagles would have an 18-15 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third the scoring would pick up and the Eagles would win the third quarter 16-13 and have a 34-28 lead head to the fourth. Although in the fourth the Cougars would have shutdown defense winning the quarter 12-4. With the Cougars would get the comeback victory at 40-38 and advance to the Class B Finals against the Plattsburgh Hornets. Gallery.

Peru and Northern Adirondack wrestle battle for position in the 150lb weight class Northern Adirondack would eventually win the class. It would be the section VII sectional championships from Peru. The five schools that would be competing would be Peru Saranac, Ausable Valley, Northern Adirondack, and Beekmantown. All class winners would advance on to the New York State wrestling championships in two weeks in Albany. The eventual school champion would be Peru followed by Saranac. Gallery

Saranac's Johnny Devins going for the pin of the Peru wrestler in the 143 class finals. It would be the section VII sectional championships from Peru.
