It would be a late-season contest inside the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference from the Beekmantown Central School as the Eagles would host the Peru Nighthawks in Boys Soccer action. It would be a very evenly matched contest between a couple of good teams that would see the Eagles have the shot-on-net advantage by a count of 8-4. This game would need more than regulation time to decide the winner as the score would be deadlocked with no score as they would play the needed 80 minutes. In the extra time, the Eagles would finally get the needed goal from Ian McCasland for the 1-0 win. With the win the Beekmantown Eagles would finish off their regular season with a 8-5-1 record while the Nighthawks finish the season at 9-4-1 and now both teams will look forward to the upcoming playoffs. The Beekmantown Eagles celebrate their overtime game-winner that came in the 85th minute from Ian McCasland and send the home crowd home happy. it would be a late-season contest inside the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference from the Beekmantown Central School as the Eagles would host the Peru Nighthawks in Boys Soccer action. The Peru goalkeeper Connor Perrotte comes in with the diving attempt on the ball and covers it up to stop Hornet's goal attempt. It would be a mid-week affair in the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Boy's Soccer action as the Plattsburgh Hornets would host their neighbors and rival Peru Nighthawks in the second meeting of the season. As the Nighthawks would win the first meeting of the season earlier in the season at home by a 3-2 score the Hornets would be looking for revenge. The Hornets would get the opening goal of the game from #10 just 15 minutes into the game with the help of number #3 to give the Hornets the 1-0 lead. Then with just over five minutes left in the first half, the Hornets would extend their lead to 2-0 on a goal by #17 that he would get off the rebound from his own penalty kick. That is where the game would stay as defense would be the name of the game in the second half. With the win, the Hornets go to 5-5-2 as they head into their next game against Beekmantown on October 10th. The Nighthawks fall to 8-3-1 on the season as they head into their home tilt against the Saranac Spartans on October 10th. Gallery

The Plattsburgh Hornets celeberate as they get the opening goal of the game and take a 1-0 lead. It would be the classic rivalry in the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Boy's Soccer as the Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Peru Nighthawks. The host Hornets would get the opening goal of the game as they would take the 1-0 Momin Khan would score in the 18th minute. Then in the final two minutes of the half the Hornets would extend there lead 2-0 on Owen Mulligan. When the teams came back for the second half the Hornets would strike again in the 51st minute to take a 3-0 lead on Owen Mulligain's second goal of the game. Then in the 62nd minute the Hornets would put the finishing touches on the game as Momin Khan would beat the goalie again and take the 4-0 lead and from there the Hornets would on for the win. In the winning effort the Hornets go to 3-1 while the Nighthawks get there first lose of the season and go to 5-1 on the season. Gallery

Dominic Falvo with the goal off the penalty kick for his third of the night and retake the Nighthawks lead. It would be a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference game between the visiting Northeastern Clinton Cougars and the home Peru Nighthawks from the Apple Bowl. The Nighthawks would take the early 2-0 lead on the Cougars in the first 12 minutes on two goals from Dominic Falvo. The Cougars would cut the lead in half on the the Wells goal and make it 2-1 in the 13th minute. In the early stages of the second half on a goal by Simpson the Cougars would tie the game at two. The Nighthawks would regain the lead on Dominic Falvo's third goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 58th minute. The Nighthawks would be able to regain there two goal lead at 4-2 on a goal from Seanan Edwards in the 61st minute.Then just in the next minute the Cougars would make it a one goal game again down the stretch from Brown. Although from there Nighthawks defense would be up to the task and the Nighthawks would hold on for the win and go to 4-0 on the season while the Cougars fall to 2-2 on the season. Gallery
