Saranac's (24) wraps up the legs and holds tight to bring down Peru's Ryan Lovely (11). The Saranac Chiefs would host the Peru Indians in week 6 of the Champlain Valley Football League league season. It would be the battle of a couple of schools that just don't like each other and at times it would show. The Indians would strike first 3:30 on a fumble recovery in the endzone for a score to make it 7-0 Indians. Then at the 8-minute mark the Indians would score again this time hooking up with Zane Bazzano on a 45-yard pass to make it 14-0. The Chiefs would get on the broad just over a minute later on John Maye's touchdown run to make it 14-6. Then just three minutes into the second quarter the Indians would hit Bazzano again this time on a bomb to make it 20-6. Then just two minutes later it would be Bazzamo again to make it 27-6. Then as the first half would come to an end the Indians and Rivelino Hendricks would score from five yards out to make it 34-6 at the break. When the teams return for the second half it was more of the same as the Indians and Hendricks would score at the nine-minute mark to make it 41-6. From there on out the teams would cruise it on out. With the win, the Indians stay undefeated at 6-0 and the Chiefs fall to 2-4 on the season.

The Saranac Chiefs would host the Peru Indians in week 6 of the Champlain Valley Football League league season. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Peru Indians in Week 4 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference. The game would be close are the first quarter the teams trading touchdowns but the Indians would miss the extra point giving the Eagles the 7-6 at the end of one. Then in the second quarter, the Indians would get the only score and go for two to take a 14-7 lead into the break. Then the teams would come back for the second half they would be fired up and there would be more hard-hitting. The Indians would outscore the Eagles 22-7 thanks to some favorable officiating. The highlight of the day would come when each team would have a return for touchdown Zane Bazzano for the Indians and Cameron Garceau for the Eagles. With the win, the Indians stay undefeated at 4-0 as they head to Saranac next well the Eagles fall to 2-2 and are on the road at Moriah.

The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Peru Indians in Week 4 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference. The Beekmantown Eagles would travel to Plattsburgh and take on the Hornets in week three of the Champlain Valley Atheltic Conference action. The Eagles would take the lead at 2:53 mark of the first quarter on Cameron Garceau's touchdown reception. Then just over two minutes later the Eagles would strike again on Devin Fessette's two-yard touchdown run to make it 14-0. Then shortly into the second quarter, the Eagles would strike again this time on Justin Stevens two-yard run to make it 20-0 Eagles. The Eagles would strike one more time before the half ended on Devin Fessette's second score of the night to make it 27-0 at the half. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same Justin Stevens would get his second touchdown of night six minutes in to make it 34-0. Then just three minutes later the Eagles would strike again with Justin Stevens third touchdown of the night to make it 41-0. The Eagles would end there scoring in the fourth quarter on Tyler Myers's eight-yard run to secure the 48-0 victory. With the win, the Eagles go to 2-1 as the Hornets fall to 0-3 on the season.

The Saranac Chiefs would open up the season at home against the Au Sable Valley Patriots. The Chiefs would take the 7-0 lead with 1:46 left in the 1st quarter when Ethan Goslin would find Lance Hackett in the endzone for the touchdown. Although the Patriots would come right back and score on there next drive to make the score 7-6. On the in suing kickoff the Chiefs would cough up the ball and the Patriots would score. Then with 5:02 left in the half, the Chiefs would regain the lead at 14-12 on John Maye touchdown run. Then just over a minute later the Chiefs would extend there lead to 20-14 when John Maye would score on the touchdown run off a Patriot turnover. The Patriots would answer back though before the end of the half to tie the game at 20-20 at the break. When the teams came out of the break the Chiefs would start to take control of the game and regain the lead on John Maye's third touchdown run from the 5-yard line and would get the two-point conversion to make it 28-20. Then with the 4th quarter starting the Chiefs would score again behind John Maye to make it 34-20. Just three minutes later the Patriots would race down the field and score on John Goodnough runs to make it 34-28 and get back in the game. Then with 3:30 left the Chiefs would finish the Patriots off on Ethan Goslin's run to make it a 42-28 Chiefs win. Leading the way for the Chiefs in the win would be John Maye with 198 yards and four touchdowns. With the win, the Chiefs start the season at 1-0 as they head on the road to Beekmantown for week 2.

The Peru Indians would host the Beekmantown Eagles in the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Class B Championships. The Peru Indians would not leave much doubt in the game as they would take a 21-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. Then in the 2nd quarter, they would score three more times to take a 41-0 lead in the break. In the second half, the Eagles would do the best they could to keep the Indians off the scoreboard and only give up one score to make it a 48-0 final. With the lose the Eagles season comes to an end at 6-3. With the win, the Indians improve to 8-1 on the season. They will be moving on to state play next week against the Malone Huskies in Massena. The Saranac Chiefs would travel to Beekmantown to take on the Eagles in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Class B Semi-Finals. The Eagles would take control right from the beginning and not look back. They would take the 14-6 lead after the first quarter. The eagles would get two more touchdowns in the second quarter to make it 28-6 at the break. Then in the second half, the Eagles would step up there defense and make the Chiefs have a few turnovers as they would into the endzone two more times to make a 42-6 final. With the win, the Chiefs season comes to an end at 2-6 and the Eagles go onto the championship next week against the Peru Indians. Gallery.
