Plattsburgh State's Zach Popp (6) gets hit into the net on the wrap around goal. The #5 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Buffalo State Bengals in SUNYAC play this would also be the home opener for the Cardinals. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead at the 8:36 mark on the Connor Gorman goal. Then just about a minute and half later Zach Popp would score on the power play to make it 2-0 after the first period. When the second period open the Cardinals would score two goal in 39 seconds to make it 4-0 on Michael Rasida and Michael Cassidy goals. Then at the 9:25 mark of the second Rich Botting would score on the power play to make it 5-0. Then just over two minute later the Bengals would get on the board from Jake Rosen to make it 5-1. Then at the 15:35 mark of the second period the Cardinals would regain there 5 goal lead on Brandon O'Quinn's go to make it 6-1. As the Cardinals would get the 6-1 victory. Plattsburgh's Luke Bashelta (23) with the quick wrister on net. It would be a rematch of last week as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oswego State Laker. This time the steaks would be higher as it would be in the SUNYAC Semi-Finals and for the right to play for the championship. The game would remain scoreless until the 2:49 mark of the second period when Alex Jensen would score to give the Cardinals the 1-0 lead. The game would stay there til the 6:24 of the third when Mike Montagna would tie the game at one. The Lakers would take the 2-1 lead at 10:15 on Josh Timpano's goal it would end up being the winnter as the Cardinals fall 2-1. In the losing eddort Mathieu Cardieux would make 23 saves as they finish there season at 19-5-2 on the season.Gallery

As the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oswego State Lakers. The game would remain scoreless until just 26 seconds into the second period when Michael Radisa would make it 1-0 Cardinals. The Lakers would come back and tie the game up at Michael Montagna goal at 4:45 to make it 1-1. Then just under a minute later the Lakers would take the 2-1 lead on Andrew Barton's power-play goal. The Cardinals would tie the game back up just two minutes later on Michael Radisa second goal of the night at 2-2. Then just about a minute late Alex Brenton would give the Cardinals the 3-2 lead. The Lakers would keep fighting and get the equalizer at 12:27 on Alex Botten's goal to make it 3-3. That is where the game would stay all the way till the 17:23 mark of third when Oswego Brandon Adams would light the lamp for the eventual game-winner to give the Lakers the 4-3 win. In the losing effort, Mathieu Cadieux would make 16 saves as the Cardinals finish the regular season at 19-4-2 and head into the SUMYAC playoffs as the number #2 seed. Gallery

The Cardinals would take the quick 1-0 lead on Kevin Emerling's goal just 49 seconds into the game. The Cardinals would come right back and score again just 50 seconds later to make it 2-0 on Alex Jensen's goal. The Cardinals would continue to strike as they would make it 3-0 just 90 seconds later on Kevin Emerling's second of the night. The Red Dragon's would get into the act at 6:58 of the first on Nick Zappia's goal to make it 3-1. In the second period, the Cardinals would put the game out of reach as they would light the lamp four times to make it 7-1. Getting the goals for the Cardinals would be Ryan Franan, Alex Brenton, Kevin Emerling (a third of the night), and Michael Cassidy. In the third period just to put the icing on the cake they would add four more goals to secure the 11-1 win. Plattsburgh State's Alex Jensen (15) collides with Castleton State's goalie on the clear attempts and scores in the open net. The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Castleton State Spartans in a nonconference game as they would welcome back former assistant Steve Moffit. The game would remain scoreless until the last two minutes of the first when Castleton's Charles Bando would give the Spartans the 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would answer back at 3:42 of the second period and tie the game at one on Michael Radisa's goal. The Cardinals would then take the 2-1 lead at 7:35 of the second the short-handed goal. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 3-1 on Graham Yeo's first college goal at 11:35. Then two minutes later Alex Jensen would get his second goal of the night for the 4-1 lead. Then at 6:26 of the third Michael Cassidy would get into the scoring act as the Cardinals take the 5-1 lead. Then in the final 30 seconds of game Alex Jensen would finish off the hat trick as the Cardinals cruised to the 6-1 win.
