The #6 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Fredonia State Blue Devils in SUNYAC play at the Ronald Stafford Ice Arena. Then just over three minutes later the Cardinals would go up 3-0 on Alex Jensen's goal. Then just 2:53 into the third period the Cardinals would go up 4-0 on Alex Brenton's goal. The Blue Devils would be able to avoid the shutout though when Zach White would score at 8:17 to make it 4-1 victory for the Cardinals.
