Saranac'd Tyler Humiston (7) fights through the tackler as he comes around the edge on the sweep. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Ticonderoga Sentinels in Champlain Valley football. Ticonderoga would get the open score in the first quarter to make it 8-0. The Chiefs would score in the 2nd quarter on Lance Hackets Touchdown reception and would go into the locker room at 8-6. Then in the second half the Sentinels offense would wake up and put up 24 points and the Chiefs would get a late score to make it a 34-12 final. With the lose the Chiefs falls to 2-4 on the season as they head into the regular-season finale against the Saranac Lake Red Storm.

Chateaugay's Brennan Secore (24) with the sliding tackle at midfield to break up the attack. The Chateaugay Bulldogs host the #5 Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers in east division action. The game would be very physical all the way around with many hard hits and a few players that would be slow in getting up. The Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead in the 21st minute on a penalty kick from Wayne Cowan that he would place in the top corner. The Bulldogs would then add another goal in the 67th minute on the Cody Smith goal. That would be all the Bulldogs would need as they would get the 2-0 victory. In the winning effort, the Bulldogs goalie would combine to stop three shots for the shutout. With the win, the Bulldogs go to 4-2-2 overall and 3-1 in the east. As the Panthers fall to 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the east. Gallery

Chateaugay's Erin Ashline (23) with the spike between two defenders for the point. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in east division action. The Bulldogs would take the match in a quick 3 games to 0 by scores of 25-16, 25-4, 25-11. Leading the way for the Bulldog's would be Desiree Stumpf with a fifteen point run in the second game. Another help would be the Bulldog's great defense. With the win, the Bulldogs continue there unbeaten season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Courtney Boyea (5) scores on the rebound that she puts into the top shelf for the goal. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Salmon River Shamrocks in non-league action. The Bulldogs would take the early lead on Alexis Beach's goal in the 2nd minute. Alexis Beach would strike again in the 7th minute to give the Bulldogs the 2-0 lead. The Bulldogs would extend the lead to three on Country Boyea's goal in the 15th minute. Then just two minutes later the Bulldogs would make it 4-0 on Brianna Cook's goal. The Shamrocks would finally get on the board in the 51st minute on Emily Tremblay's goal to make it 4-1. Then the Shamrocks would score again in 56th minute on Taryn Thomas-King to make it 4-2. The Bulldogs would finish off the scoring in the 62nd minute on Courtney Boyea's goal for the 5-2 win. In the winning effort, the Bulldog goalies would combine to stop five shots. Salmon River's Kwiin King (8) with the header at midfield that advances the ball into the offensive zone. The Malone Huskies would host the Salmon River Shamrocks in a central division match. The game would be a very quick pace match with both teams sprinting up and down the field. Both teams would have their chances to get a goal. Although the only goal of the game would come in the 52nd minute from Salmon River's Kevin King for the 1-0 win. Samatha Ghathraw would get nine saves for the shut out victory. With the win, the Shamrocks go to 2-5-1 and the Huskies fall to 2-5 on the season. Gallery

Saranac Chiefs @ Peru Indians September 29 2012

Saranac's Ethan Goslin (1) breaks up the pass in the endzone that was intended for Peru's Noah Phillips (19). The Saranac Chiefs would travel to Peru and take on the Indians in CVAC match up between two bitter rivals. The game would be close through the opening quarter as the Indians would lead 7-0. Then in the second quarter is where the flood gates would open up and score 17 to take a 24-0 lead into the intermission. Then in the second half, it would be more of the same as the Chiefs were just decimated by injuries throughout. The Peru Indians would score 27 more points and cruise to the 51-0 victory. Next week the Chiefs head back home where they will take on Ticonderoga.

Chateaugay's Tyler Martin (4) collides with St. Lawerence's Tyler Savage (goalie) on the breakaway. Chad Slater would pick up the rebound for the open net tying goal. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Lawerence Larries in east division soccer. The teams would be off to races early. St. Lawerence's Ian Lynch would get the games first tally in the 3rd minute. Then in the 5th minute Tyler Martin would tie the game right back up. The scoring bridge would end in the 6th minute on Chad Slater's goal to give the Bulldogs the 2-1 lead. St. Lawerence's Ian Lynch would get his second goal of the game in the 51st minute to tie the game at two. The Larries would take the lead on Lynch's third goal of the game for Ian Lynch for the hat trick in the 65th minute to make it 3-2 Larries. The Bulldogs would put on thrilling last 15 minutes of the games as Chad Slater would score in the 76th minute to force overtime. In that overtime period, there would be no scores and the teams would finish tied at 3. This would be a very physical game all the way around with both teams having there fair share players hit the deck. With the tie the Chateaugay Bulldogs go to 2-3-2 overall and the St. Lawerence Larries go to 2-4-1 Gallery

The Malone Huskies would host east division rival in the Salmon River Shamrocks in match for 2nd place in the division. The Malone Huskies would ease there way to victories in the first two games 25-11 and 25-17. The third game would be the game of the natch as the Shamrocks would squeak it out in extra's 26-24. Then Huskies would finish of the match in game 4 with a 25-13 win to win the match 3-1. With the win, Malone Huskies go to 5-2 and the Shamrocks fall to 4-3. Gallery

The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host rival Brushton-Moria Panthers in an east division game. The lone goal would come in the 56th minute on an own goal to give the Bulldogs the 1-0 win. With the win, the Bulldogs stay undefeated on the season at 6-0. In the winning effort Bulldogs, Mikalya Fleury would stop 5 shots for the shutout. Gallery
