Chateaugay's (7) steps through the Colton-Pierpont with the flip shot over the defender's foot on the way to the net. The #12 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Colton-Pierpont Colts in Northern Athletic Conference soccer action. The Bulldogs would jump out quickly and take the 1-0 lead on Katie Beach's 2nd-minute goal. Then in the 13th minute, the Bulldogs would extend there lead to 2-0 on Brianna Cook's goal. Then in the 32nd minute, they would end there first-half assault with Danielle Charaland's goal to make it 3-0 Bulldogs. Then when teams came back for the second the Bulldogs would insure the win on Brianna Cook's second goal of the game in the 40th minute to make it 4-0. From there on the Bulldogs would hold on for the 4-0 win. In the winning effort, the Bulldogs goalies would combine for the shutout victory as they go to 8-1 on the season. Gallery.

T. Malianakas John Southwick with the leaping catch in end zone for the touchdown. T. Malianakas Masonary would meet up with the American Legion/SL Trucking in week three of the North Country Flag Football League. This would be a early season battle for the top spot in the league as both teams would coming in undefeated at 3-0 on the season. With that being said you could deffenately tell this was top level game. T. Malianakas would take a 14-0 lead at the half. In the second half the American Legion would try and make the comeback but it would come short as they would only get one score to make it 14-7. With Malianakas getting the 14-7 victory they would go to 4-0 while American Legion/SL Trucking would fall to 3-1 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh's Matt Durocher (14) breaks the tackle and head down the field for the first down. The #1 Plattsburgh North Stars would host the #2 Watertown Red Black in the empire football league championship for the third time in five years. The game would be played in steady rain throughout the night. The Plattsburgh North Stars would get the lone score of the game on Jamil McCray's rushing touchdown. With the lone score of the game, the North Stars would get the 6-0 victory with the help of there shutdown defense. The win would give the Northstars the second championship Empire Football League Championship in three years. Gallery.

Saranac Chiefs Vs Au Sable Valley Patriots October 3 2014

Saranac's Dylan Clay (17) leaps out and gets the first down before he is brought down by the foot tackle. The Saranac Chiefs would travel down to Clintonville and take on the AU Sable Valley Patriots in week 5 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference football season. The Saranac Chiefs would take the 7-0 at 7:07 of the first quarter on Dylan Clay's block punt recovered in the endzone for the touchdown. Then just about two minutes later the Chiefs would extend the lead to 14-0 on Zack Martin's 4-yard run. Then three minutes into the second quarter Zack Martin would score again 1 yard out and take the 22-0 lead headed into the half. Then in the third quarter, Caiden Goodman would score on the 15-yard reception to make it 29-0 at 9:03 of third. Then in the closing seconds of the third Hunter Church would score from three yards out to make it 36-0. Then in the opening minute of the fourth quarter, Skinadar would put the Patriots on the board with the 6-yard touchdown reception to make it 36-7. Then with under 6 minutes left in the game, Hunter Church would get his second touchdown of the night on a 14-yard run to make it 43-7. From there on the Chiefs would hold on for the 43-7 victory. In the winning effort, Zack Martin would run for 123 yards and 2 scores as the Chiefs get there first win of the season and go to 1-4 on the season while the Patriots fall to 1-4 on the season. Chateaugay's Caitlin Miller (21) with the jump serve down the middle for the ace. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks in Section X Volleyball action. The Bulldogs would make quick and easy of the Lumberjacks as they would get the straight sets victory in just over 30 minutes for the win. The scores of the three games would be 25-10, 25-5, and 25-6. In the winning effort the Bulldogs would contuine there undefeated season and are now 8-0 on the season. Gallery.

Chateaugay's Sam Lobdell (17) with sliding tackle along the far sidelines to break up the rush. The #12 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Regis Falls Saints in Northern Athletic Conference action. The Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead just 8 minutes into the game on Danielle Charland's goal. Then just a minute later Charland would get her second goal for the 2-0 lead. Then in the 24th minute, Alica Cook would strike for the Bulldogs and take a 3-0 lead and into the half. When the teams returned for the second half it would be more of the same as Katie Beach would score in the 48th minute to take a 4-0 lead. Then in the 50th minute, Danielle Charland would finish her hat trick for the 5-0 lead. Then in the 60th minute, Alica Cook would score her second of the night to make it 6-0 and from there on would hold on for the 6-0 win. In the winning effort, Bulldog goalies would combine for the shutout and go to 7-1 on the season. Gallery.

American Legion's Trevor St. Clair (5) with the leaping catch in the endzone for the score. The American Legion 1619/SL Trucking would meet up in week 2 of the North Country Flag Football League. The American Legion defense would be up the task they would shutout the West Side Saints in the first half and take a 13-0 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same and the American Legion would add another score and take the 20-0 victory. The West Side Saints would take a slim 7-0 lead after the first half. In the second half the teams would trade scores and the West Side Saints would secure the 14-6 victory. Milinakas would be in control from start to finish with there defense as they would have three scores in the first and have a 29-0 lead at the break. Beekmantown's Justin Stevens (22) with the leaping catch along the sidelines that he uses the facemask as an assist. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Beekmantown Eagles in Week 4 of the Champlain Valley season. The Eagles would take a 10-0 lead after the first on a touchdown by Justin Stevens and a field goal. The Eagles would extend the lead to 24-0 at the half on a pair of Tyler Newman touchdowns. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Eagles control would continue with Justin Stevens's second and third touchdown to make it 38-0. Then in the fourth quarter, the Eagles would get two more scores an interception for a touchdown by Brandon Peryea and a running score by Handy to secure the 53-0 victory In the winning effort Justin Stevens would run for 246 yards and three touchdowns as the Eagles go to 3-1 while the Chiefs fall to 0-4 on the season.
