Malone's Morgan Fountain (3) slides in safe at second base ahead of the tag. The Malone Huskies would win a slugfest with the Salmon River Shamrocks 10-9 in the home opener. In the opening inning the huskies would strike for runs. Although the Shamrocks would strike right back with 3 in the second to make it 4-3. Then between the third and fourth the Huskies would get 5 runs making it 9-3. Then in the fifth through seventh the Shamrocks would stage a comeback scoring 6 runs but the Huskies would get 1 in the sixth to secure the 10-9 win. In the winning effort, Annie Sharlow would strike out nine. With the win, the Huskies start the season at 1-0. Gallery

Chateaugay's Garrett Labare (7) throws the bender for a strike. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would fall 4-2 in their season opener to the Lisbon Golden Knights. The Bulldogs would give up two runs in the first inning and just couldn't claw there way back into the game. The Bulldogs would have some errors in the middle that would cost them a chance. With the defeat, the Bulldogs fall to 0-1 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay Bulldogs Shelby Coleman (13) slides in safe at the plate ahead of the tag. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would make easy work of the Lisbon Golden Knights with 12-0 victory. The Bulldogs would get single runs in the 2nd and 3rd inning but then would explode for seven in the 4th to put the game away. In the winning effort Courtney Boyea would pitch a one-hit shutout while striking out eight. With the win the Bulldogs start there season off 1-0. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Mike Mulvihill (30) slides in safe at the plate ahead of the tag. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would split a doubleheader with the Brockport State Golden Eagles. In-game 1 miscues would cost the Cardinals as they would get defeated 10-4. Although in-game 2 they would fight and scrap to get the 11-9 win. In that game, the Cardinals would come from behind twice to get the win. With the victory, the Cardinals record would go to 14-13 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Megan Price (3) slides in safe at home plate to tie the game The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would split a doubleheader with the Geneseo State Knights. The would win game 1 5-4 in the dramatic fashion they would score two runs in the 7th off a bunt that was supposed to be an intentional walk. Then in game two, it would be close through the first 5 then the Knights would explode with 4 runs to get the 7-1 win. With the split, the Cardinals record go to 17-6. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Allison Smiddy with the game-winning hit in extra innings. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would sweep the New Paltz Hawks. In-game one they would win 4-3 in the 8th inning. Then in the second game, they would get the convincing 11-2. With the sweep, they would improve there record to 14-4. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Nick Travers (42) with the high shot inclose for one of the three-goal games. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would defeat the Oswego State Lakers 13-4. They would take the early 6-0 lead after that the first quarter and not look back from there and cruise to the 13-4 win. With the win, the Cardinals go to 7-5 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Ashley Marshall delivers a strike three as part of her twelve strike performance. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would get a sweep of Oneonta State Red Dragons by scores of 8-0 and 4-0. In the second game, the Cardinals would do all there scoring in the opening inning. In the winning effort, the Cardinals Ashley Marshall would strike out the 12. As the Cardinals get the sweep they would improve 14-5 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Ryan Dockings (39) came on the breakaway and put the shot on net that saved off the goalies helmet. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would defeat the Buffalo State Bengals 4-3 in three overtimes to advance to the conference finals in the 2nd longest division III hockey game in history. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead three minutes into the second period on Jake Mooney's goal. Then Jared Dockings would extend the lead to 2-0 with 9 minutes left in the second period. The Bengals would cut the lead in half with 4 minutes left in the period to 2-1. The Cardinals would take the 2 goal lead back with 2 minutes left in the third period on Patrick Jobb's goal. In the third period, the Bengals would get two goals including one with the extra attacker to sends us to overtime tied at 3. That is where the score would remain till Mark Constantine would send the home fans home happy with his goal 11 minutes into the third overtime on the 71st shot of the night. In the winning effort, Mathieu Cadieux would stop 38 of 41 shots on the net. With the win, the Cardinals advance to the SUNYAC Championship next weekend at Oswego. Gallery.

Malone's Joey Brown (6) with the paddle save and then covers the puck to perverse the shutout. The Malone Huskies would defeat the Saranac Chiefs 1-0. The game would be a great game all the way through with both teams getting there chances. The lone goal would come with 7 minutes remaining in the game when Shawn Mulverhill lights the lamp. This would be a very important win for the team as it would give Coach Chuck Dievendorf his 300th career victory. With the win, the Malone Huskies finish there regular season at 2-18. Gallery
