The game would remain scoreless until the third inning when the Huskies would erupt with six runs. The game would remain there until the 5th when the Huskies would get five more and make it 11-0. Then in the sixth, the Huskies would finish off the game with four more to get the 15-0 victory in six. Leading the way for the Huskies offensively was Morgan Fountain who went 2-3 with 2 RBI's On the mound Abby McCauley would get the complete game shutout victory while striking out eight. In a battle for first place in the East division, the Chateaugay Bulldogs would fall 3-0 to the Colton-Pierpont Colts. The Colts would get single runs in the fourth, fifth, and six for the victory. In losing effort Courtney Boyea would go the distance giving up 5 hits and striking out nine. In the opening game the Bulldogs jump out quickly getting three in each of first two innings and take a 6-0 lead. The game would stay there til the 4th when they would get two more for the 8-0. The Huskies would take the quick 2-0 lead in the first. Then in the third inning the Huskies would break it open with six runs in the third inning as they would bat around and take an 8-0 lead. Then in the fourth inning they would add a pair of runs to extend the lead to 10-0. Then in the 6th and 7th, they would get single runs to secure the 12-0 win.
