Malone's Brandon Welch (16) tags out the Potsdam base runner at the plate trying to score on the wild pitch. The Malone Huskies would host the Potsdam Sandstoners in non-league action. The teams would trade runs in the first inning to tie it at 1. After the Sandstoners would start pouring it on they would get 1 in the second, six in the fifth and three in the seventh. The Huskies would get one back in the sixth as they would fall 11-2 The key factor in the Huskies lose would be that they combined to give up 16 walks. With the lose the Huskies fall to 1-1 on the season.Gallery

Malone's Jordan Yando (14) makes contact on the pitch and sends it to the outfield for the base hit. he Malone Huskies would open up there season at home against fellow central division team Ogdensburg Blue Devils. The Huskies would get four runs in the opening inning thanks to three walks from the Blue Devils. The score would stay there till the third when the Huskies would get four more runs thanks to walks again to make it 8-0. The Blue Devils would get on the broad in the fourth to make it 8-1. The Blue Devils continue there comeback with two more in the 5th to make it 8-3. Then in the sixth, the Blue Devils would get even closer and make it tight down the stretch with four in the inning. The Huskies would shut them down in the seventh to hold on for the 8-7 win. Alex Johnson would help the Huskies get the win with a couple rbi's at the plate. With the win, the Huskies start there season at 1-0. Gallery

Malone's John Brown (2) slides in safe at the plate as Ogdensburg's catcher drops the ball and slides in behind him. The Malone Huskies would open up there season at home against fellow central division team Ogdensburg Blue Devils. The Huskies would get four runs in the opening inning thanks to three walks from the Blue Devils. The score would stay there till the third when the Huskies would get four more runs thanks to walks again to make it 8-0. The Blue Devils would get on the broad in the fourth to make it 8-1. Malone's Rachel Lamica (14) battles for the loose ball with the Ausable Valley player by the foul line. The Malone Huskies would host the Ausable Valley Patriots in non league action as the Huskies finish off the regular season. The game would be a defensive battle through out with both teams holding the other down. The Patroits would have the 14-8 lead after the first quarter. The Huskies would do there best to get in the game and a 20-18 lead at the break thanks to a 12-4 second quarter. Then when the teams returned for the third quarter it would stay tight as the Patroits would win the quarter 15-14 but the Huskies would still have the 34-33 lead. In the fourth quarter the Patroits defense would really step up as they would hold the Huskies to three points and win the quarter 10-3 to take the 43-37 victory. Malone's Rachel Lamica would lead all scorers with 12 points as the huskies fall to 10-7 on the season. Gallery

Malone's Coach Chuck Deivendorf is honored after the game for his 34 years service as the Coach of the Malone Huskies. He receives a plaque from the Malone Minor Hockey Club for his service. During his time ahead of the Huskies he has earned 308 wins. The Malone Huskies would host the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks in Section X Division II action it would be Senior Night in Malone. The game would remain scoreless until the 8:14 mark of the second period when Malone's Tanner Studlack would light the lamp on the power play goal. The Huskies would score again on the power play at 12:46 of the second period when Cameron Daniels gets the goal. That would end the scoring for the night as the Huskies get the 2-0 win. The key to the Huskies win would be there ability to score on the power play. With the win the Huskies finish the regular season at 8-11-1. In the winning effort Malone Joey Brown would stop all fourteen shots to record the shutout. Gallery

Malone's Connor Daily (1) and Brushton-Moria's Loren Traynor (10) battle for the loose ball near midcourt diving over each other. The Malone Huskies would host the Brushton-Moria Panthers in Section X action. The Huskies would leave little doubt in the game as they would take a 26-2 lead after the first. In the second quarter it would be more of the same as the Huskies would win the quarter 24-6 and take a 50-8 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the third quarter it would be more of the same as the Huskies win the third 24-7 and take a 74-15 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter the Huskies would put on the finishing touches as they would win the quarter 22-6 to get the easy 96-21 victory. In the winning effort Nate Monnette would lead all scores with 21 points. With the win the Huskies finish off the regular season with a 17-1 record and win the central division. Gallery

The Malone Huskies seniors on the basketball and cheerleading teams would hold the flag during the Senior Night Ceremony before the game. The Malone Huskies would host the Massena Red Raiders in basketball action as part of the Section X Central Division action. The game would be very physical with many fouls called through out the games as both teams were looking for the edge. The Huskies would lead by a slim 20-19 after the first quarter. In the second quarter it would be more of the same as the Red Raiders would win the quarter 19-17 and take a 38-37 lead at the break. The third quarter would be were the Huskies would run away with the games as there defense would really step up as the Huskies win the third 19-5 and take a 56-43 lead after the third. The Red Raiders were unable to much of a run in the 4th as the Huskies would get the 75-61 victory. In the winning effort Jon Dubleavey would lead the with 15 points as the Huskies go to 16-1 on the season. Gallery

Northeastern Clinton's Nick Palmer (5) with the hard check from behind on Malone's Tucker Bartenslager. The Malone Huskies would host the Northeastern Clinton Cougars in nonleague hockey action. The Cougars would get on the broad 30 seconds in and we're off and running on the Alex Duffy goal to make it 1-0. The Cougars would strike again at 3:46 on Jordan Lamere's goal to make it 2-0. That is where the game would remain until 21 seconds left in the second period when Tanner Studlack would score on the power play for the Huskies to make it 2-1 Cougars going into the third period. Then just 2:51 into the third Nick Palmer would score for the Cougars to make it 3-1. Then at 6:12, the Cougars get another goal this time from Dayton Roberts to make it 4-1. The Cougars would add one more at 15:18 to end the scoring with Justin Rabbideau's goal to give the Cougars the 5-1 victory. In the winning effort, Cody Young would stop 16 of 17 shots while Brandon Powers for the Huskies would stop 19 of 24. With the win, the Cougars will go to 8-7 as the Huskies fall to 8-8-1. Gallery

Malone's Trevor Cooley (12) with the riding hit into the broads on Potsdam's Mason Bartell (14). The Malone Huskies would host the Potsdam Sandstoners in Section X action. The Sandstoners would get the opening goal at the 6-minute mark of the first period on Corson Green goal 1-0 Sandstoners. The Sandstoners would make it 2-0 on Trevor Keleher's goal at 8:28 to end the first-period scoring. The Sandstoners would get the scoring started at 2:39 of the second on Mike Maroney's goal to make it 3-0. The Sandstoners would strike again seven seconds later on Josh Locey's goal to make it 4-0. The Sandstoners score again at 4:14 on Robbie Scotts' goal to make it 5-0. The Huskies would finally get on the broad 36 seconds later on Trevor Henderson's goal. Then with 1:16 left in the second Cameron Daniels would make it 5-2 at the end of the second. Then just a 1:15 into the third the Sandstoners would make it 6-2 Josh Locey's second goal of the night. Then at the 11:42 mark would make it 7-2 Logan Ford's goal. The Sandstoners would get one more as time expired in the game to make an 8-2 final. In the losing effort, Joey Brown would stop 36 of 44 shots as the Huskies fall to 7-7-1 on the season. Gallery
