The #1 Chateaugay Bulldogs and #9 Edwards-Knox Cougars meet up in the Section X Class D Quarterfinals at Massena High. The Bulldogs would take the quick 1-0 lead in the 2nd minute on Brianna Cook's goal. Then in the 4th minute they would extend the lead 2-0 on Danielle Charland goal to make it 2-0. The game would stay there til the 45th minute when Rachel Young would make it 3-0 Bulldogs. Then in the 46th minute, Alissa Cook would extend the lead 4-0 for the Bulldogs. Then in the 47th minute the Bulldogs would make it 5-0 on Brianna Cook's second goal. Then in the 55th minute the Bulldogs Alissa Cook would score her second goal to make it 6-0. Then in the 77th minute, the Cougars would get on the board. Although the Bulldogs would get the 6-1 victory. The Chateaugay Bulldogs pose for there team photo as they are named the 2014 Section X Class D Champion. The #1 Chateaugay Bulldogs would meet up with the #2 Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in the Section X Class D Championship. The Bulldogs would make quick work in getting the straight-set victory in about 45 minutes. The scores of the three games would be 25-6 25-8 25-12. With the win, the Bulldogs win another Section X Class D Championship and go to 18-0 on the season. Next up will be the Section X Overall championship on November 3rd and they will get the Malone Huskies in the semi-finals. Gallery.

The Grifins now advance to the Finals taking on the winner of the Minerva-Newcomb/Chazy game at PHS. In the second half, Trevor Brooks(24) - E-Town/Westport - would score the loan goal of the game at 60:11 assisted by Isaiah Turner(3) as the Griffins would win 1-0. The Saranac Chiefs (JV) would host the Ausable Valley Patriots (JV) in the last JV game of the season. The Patriots would take the 6-0 lead after the first quarter and hold on till late in the second quarter when the Chiefs would get on the board with a Johnny Devins touchdown to tie it at 6 at halftime. When the teams would come back for the second the Patriots would come to play and score three scores to make it 28-6. In the fourth quarter, the teams would trade sores including the big catch in the endzone by Saranac's Brandon Velie for the score as he rips it from the defender's hand. In the end, though the Patriots would get the 34-12 victory and finish the undefeated season at 8-0 while the Chiefs finish at 0-8. Gallery.

The #2 Saranac Chiefs would host the #3 Ausable Valley Patriots in Champlain Valley Atheltic Conference Class C Semi-finals. These two evenly matched teams would be scoreless until the second quarter when Patriots Jimmy Kelly would score to make it 7-0 Patriots. The game would stay there until 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter when Chiefs Mason Martin would score and they would get the two-point conversion and take an 8-7 lead. Then on the ensuing Patriots drive two questionable calls would lead to the Patriot's good field position and Jimmy Kelly would score from the one-yard line with 25 seconds left on the clock to give the Patriots 14-8 victory. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Massena Red Raiders in Section X East Division with the two top teams in the league. The Bulldogs would get the straight-sets victory in about an hour. They would win the three games by scores of 25-22, 25-17, and 25-20. In the winning effort, the Bulldogs would finish off the undefeated season at 16-0 and be crowned the 2014 Section X East Division champions. Then in the 37th minute Jordan Martin for the Bulldogs would make it 3-0. The in the 38th minute Zack Cowan would score for the Bulldogs to make it 4-0 as the teams went into the intermission. When the teams back for the second half it would be more of the same as Nick Ashline would make it 5-0 in the 45th minute. Then in the 46th minute Reid Laplante would finish off the hat trick to make it 6-0. Then in the 71st minute Josh Trombley would get his first career goal to secure the 7-0 win. It would be a game that would see both teams have trouble getting there offenses going. The game would eventually need overtime as they went into extra period still tied at zero. In the extra period, Tevin Conners for the West Side Saints would make in an interception in the endzone that he would return for the game-winning score to get the 6-0 victory. Saranac's Hunter Church (33) stretches out for the touchdown to get the Chiefs on the board. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Plattsburgh Hornets in the first-ever Saranac River Bowl. The Hornets would take the 6-0 lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter. The score would stay there till the third quarter when the Hornets would get a second rushing touchdown to make it 12-0. Then later in the third quarter the Chiefs would get on the board on a Hunter Church touchdown to make it 12-6. Then with about four minutes left in the game Caiden Goodman would catch a tipped ball in the end zone and tie the game up at 12. Then after a very short punt by the Hornets the Chiefs would get the ball back and George Miller would take it up the middle for the winning touchdown with under a minute for the 20-12 victory. Then in the 13th minute, the Bulldogs would get on the board as Zack Cowan would score to make it 2-1 Yellow Jackets. From there on the rain and the good defenses would clamp down on the game and the Yellow Jackets would get the 2-1 victory. Saranac's Dylan Clay (17) leaps out and gets the first down before he is brought down by the foot tackle. The Saranac Chiefs would travel down to Clintonville and take on the AU Sable Valley Patriots in week 5 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference football season. The Saranac Chiefs would take the 7-0 at 7:07 of the first quarter on Dylan Clay's block punt recovered in the endzone for the touchdown. Then just about two minutes later the Chiefs would extend the lead to 14-0 on Zack Martin's 4-yard run. Then three minutes into the second quarter Zack Martin would score again 1 yard out and take the 22-0 lead headed into the half. Then in the third quarter, Caiden Goodman would score on the 15-yard reception to make it 29-0 at 9:03 of third. Then in the closing seconds of the third Hunter Church would score from three yards out to make it 36-0. Then in the opening minute of the fourth quarter, Skinadar would put the Patriots on the board with the 6-yard touchdown reception to make it 36-7. Then with under 6 minutes left in the game, Hunter Church would get his second touchdown of the night on a 14-yard run to make it 43-7. From there on the Chiefs would hold on for the 43-7 victory. In the winning effort, Zack Martin would run for 123 yards and 2 scores as the Chiefs get there first win of the season and go to 1-4 on the season while the Patriots fall to 1-4 on the season.
