Chateaugay's Jordan Martin (12) with the fade away in traffic for the basket. The #5 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers in Section X East Division action. It would be a game that the Bulldogs would control from the opening tip throughout and have a 20-3 lead after the first quarter. The Bulldogs would win the second quarter 21-10 to have a 41-13 lead at the break. When the teams back from the intermission the Bulldogs would stay in control and win the quarter 15-7 and have a 56-20 lead after three. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would keep it up and win the fourth 14-7 and get the 70-27 victory. The game would be played real even throughout the first to the point they would be tied at 0 at the half. In the second half, the Bulldogs would start to take control and take the 1-0 lead in the 41st minute on Katie Beach's goal. Then in the 71st minute, the Bulldogs would extend the lead to 2-0 on Katie Beach's second goal of the night and get the 2-0 victory. In the winning effort, Holly Zeldenrust would make 2 saves in the shutout victory as the Bulldogs to 12-1 on the season.

Malone's Devan Monnette (12) slides in to score the winning run. The Malone Huskies would defeat the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers 9-8 in dramatic fashion in the bottom of the seventh. The Flyers would open up the scoring with one in the first. Although the Huskies would come back with three in the bottom to take the 3-1 lead. The Flyers would tie it back up with one in the second and third. The Huskie bats would come alive in the fourth with four runs to take the 7-3 lead. Then in the sixth, they would get one more for the 8-3 lead. Then in the top of seventh errors would cost the Huskies as they would allow the Flyers to tie it up at eight. Then in the bottom of the inning is where the Huskies would pull it up on a walk-off single scoring Devan Monette. With the win, the Huskies improve to 13-3 on the season. Gallery

The Flyers would try and slow down the Bulldogs with the full-court press in the first quarter to no help as the Bulldogs would have the 23-2 lead after one. In the second quarter it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would take a 41-12 lead into the break. In the second half, it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would cruise to the 77-30 win. Gallery

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs it would be more the same a lack of offense and timely errors on defense would hurt them through out the day. The Flyers would get out to a 10-0 lead after the first three innings before the Bulldogs would get on the broad and by that point the game would be decided.
