Plattsburgh State Cardinals Chelsea VanGlahn battles for the behind the net with the Amherst Lady jeffs defender. Chelsea VanGlahn would go on to score the two cardinals goals. The #4 Plattsburgh Cardinals would host #7 Amherst Lady Jeffs in the Cardinals/Panthers Classic. The game would be scoreless through the first period. Then early in the second period, the Lady Jeffs would take 1-0 lead and would add another one later in the period to the 2-0 lead heading into the final period. The Lady Jeffs would take the 3-0 lead early in the 3rd period. Then Cardinals would start there come back getting two goals within 2 minutes with still 8 minutes left on the clock. The comeback would come up a goal short on this day though and they would lose 3-2 With the lose the Cardinals fall to 5-1-1 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Matt MacLeod (21) rifles the shot over the goalie's shoulder and scores. The Plattsburgh would defeat the Geneseo State Ice Knights 2-0 to finish off the weekend sweep. In the winning effort, Matt MacLeod and Vick Schlueter get the goals and Mathieu Cadieux stops all 23 shots for the shutout. The Cardinals improve there record to 5-1 on the season. Gallery

The #6 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Brockport State Golden Eagles for the home opener of the season. The Cardinals would make easy work of the Golden Eagles gaining the 5-1 victory. The Chateaugay Bulldogs run at a state title comes to end in the quarterfinals with a 2-1 defeat to the Chazy Eagles. The Chazy Eagles would get the opening with 5 minutes left in the first half. It would take till the 20th minute of the second half to tie it up on Kelly Favreu's direct kick. The Chazy would come storming back to get the eventual game winner about a minute later ending the Chateaugay Bulldogs season. Gallery.

Malone Huskies Austin Dunleavy (84) with the leaping catch in the endzone for the touchdown on the crossing pattern. It would be the Malone Huskies hosting the Potsdam Sandstones in the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be a close game throughout the first half as both teams would trade scores back and forth with the Huskies taking at 27-20 lead into the break. Although when the second half would start the Huskies would show their dominance as they would score four times in the third quarter to end up getting the 48-20 victory. In the winning effort John Picarco would have a three-touchdown day. With the win, the Malone Huskies advance to the state playoffs against Brunt Hill next weekend at Stillwater High School.
