With the win, the Bulldogs win another Section X Class D Championship and go to 18-0 on the season. Chateaugay's Brooke Secore (14) with the two haned push shot to the far side of the court. The #1 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the #4 Brushton-Moira Panthers in the Section X Class D Semi-finals. The Bulldogs would make quick work of the Panthers winning the match in about 45 minutes in straight sets by scores of 25-7 25-4 and 25-12. With the win the Bulldogs go to 17-0 on the season and will play #2 Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets for the Sectional championship. Gallery

Maliankias' Clint McCool (2) and West Side's Josh Douglass go up for the ball along the sidelines. It would be week 6 of the North Country Flag Football League where the T. Maliankias Masonry would meet up with the West Side Saints. Masonry defense would be tops again this week and have a 14-0 lead at the half with the defense giving them short fields. In the second half, it would be more of the same and they would win the half 14-0 and secure the 28-0 win. In the winning effort, Maliankias Masonry would go to 6-1 on the season while the West Side Saints would fall to 1-6. Gallery

Northeast Brandon Lalone slices through the defense and scores the touchdown. The American Legion/SL Trucking would meet up with the Northeast Monsters in week 6 of the North Country Flag Football League. It would be a defensive battle in the first half and the American Legion would take the slim 6-0 lead at the break. In the second half, both teams offenses would walk up and American Legion would win the half 13-6 and secure the 19-6 victory. In the winning effort, American Legion/SL Trucking would go to 6-1 while the Northeast Monsters would fall to 0-7. Gallery

Saranac's Keegan Bulluck (21) dives over the defenders along the sidelines for the first down. The Saranac Chiefs (JV) would host the Ausable Valley Patriots (JV) in the last JV game of the season. The Patriots would take the 6-0 lead after the first quarter and hold on till late in the second quarter when the Chiefs would get on the board with a Johnny Devins touchdown to tie it at 6 at halftime. When the teams would come back for the second the Patriots would come to play and score three scores to make it 28-6. In the fourth quarter, the teams would trade sores including the big catch in the endzone by Saranac's Brandon Velie for the score as he rips it from the defender's hand. In the end, though the Patriots would get the 34-12 victory and finish the undefeated season at 8-0 while the Chiefs finish at 0-8. Gallery

The #2 Saranac Chiefs would host the #3 Ausable Valley Patriots in Champlain Valley Atheltic Conference Class C Semi-finals. These two evenly matched teams would be scoreless until the second quarter when Patriots Jimmy Kelly would score to make it 7-0 Patriots. The game would stay there until 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter when Chiefs Mason Martin would score and they would get the two point conversation and take a 8-7 lead. Then on the ensuing Patriots drive two questionable calls would lead to the Patriots good field position and Jimmy Kelly would score from the one yard line with 25 seconds left on the clock to give the Patriots 14-8 victory. In the winning effort the Patriots advance to next weeks championship game against Saranac Lake Chiefs while the Saranac Chiefs season comes to end at 2-6. Gallery

The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Massena Red Raiders in Section X East Division with the two top teams in the league. The Bulldogs would get the straight-sets to victory in about an hour. They would win the three games by scores of 25-22, 25-17, and 25-20. In the winning effort, the Bulldogs would finish off the undefeated season at 16-0 and be crowned the 2014 Section X East Division champions. They now move on to the Section X Class D playoffs where they will play either Edwards-Knox or Brushton-Moria in the semi-finals. Gallery

The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Regis Falls Saints in Section X East Division action. The Bulldogs would strike in the 12th minute on Reid Laplante's goal to make it 1-0. Then just two minutes later Reid would strike again for his second goal to make it 2-0. Then in the 37th minute, Jordan Martin for the Bulldogs would make it 3-0. The in the 38th minute Zack Cowan would score for the Bulldogs to make it 4-0 as the teams went into the intermission. When the teams back for the second half it would be more of the same as Nick Ashline would make it 5-0 in the 45th minute. Then in the 46th minute, Reid Laplante would finish off the hat trick to make it 6-0. Then in the 71st minute, Josh Trombley would get his first career goal to secure the 7-0 win. In the winning, the Bulldog goalies would combine for the shutout as the Bulldogs go to 10-6.

It would be week 5 of the North Country Flag Football League as it would pit the top two teams in the league the Malianakas Masonry Vs American Legion/SL Trucking. It would be a defensive game all the way through as the American Legion would take the slim 6-0 lead into the break. When the teams came back it would be the same and American Legion would scrap out another score and take the 13-0. In the winning effort, American Legion/SL Trucking would go to 5-1 while T Malianakas Masonry would drop 5-1 with three weeks left in the season. Gallery

It would be week 5 of the North Country Flag Football League as the West Side Saints and Northeast Monsters would lock up in battle. It would be a game that would see both teams have trouble getting there offenses going. The game would eventually need overtime as they went into extra period still tied at zero. In the extra period, Tevin Conners for the West Side Saints would make in an interception in the endzone that he would return for the game-winning score to get the 6-0 victory. In the winning effort, the West Side Saints would go to 2-4 while the Northeast Monsters would fall to 0-6. Gallery
