It would not start off good for the host Cardinals as they would give up two goals in the first period and trail 2-0. In the second period both offenses would come alive as the Cobbers would score twice and the Cardinals would get three goals two from Cole Stallard and another from Jesse Neher to make it 4-3 Cobbers after two. In the third period both defenses would step and there would be no scoring as the Cardinals fall 4-3. In the losing effort Brady Rouleau would stop 16 as the Cardinals fall to 3-3 on the season. It would be a top 10 matchup as rivals #8 Plattsburgh State Cardinals host the #4 Oswego State Lakers in SUYAC play. The Lakers would take the 1-0 lead 11 minutes into the first period on David Ferriera's goal. The Cardinals would come back and tie the game at one Cole Stallard's goal at the 14-minute mark of the first. Then just over a minute later the Lakers would regain the lead at 2-1 on the powerplay goal from Andrew Barton. The Cardinals would get the 1-0 lead 6 minutes into the first with an Antoine Desyoners goal. The Red Dragons would tie the game on the Nico Gonazlez at the 12-minute mark. The Cardinals would regain there lead to 2-1 with 5 minutes left in the first on a power-play goal by Cole Stallard. The Red Dragons would tie the game up at 2 on Darren McCormick's goal at the 11-minute mark. In the final four minutes of the second period, Pat Egan gives the Cardinals the 3-2 lead on the power play. Then five minutes into the third period Kyle Hall scores for the Cardinals to give them a 4-2 lead. In the closing seconds of the game, the Red Dragons would get a goal as the Cardinals secure the 4-3 lead. It would be the top two seeds in the SUNYAC Championships as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Geneseo State Knights. The Knights would take the early advantage and not look back as they would have a 2-0 lead after the first period. In the second period, the Knights would add four more goals to have a 6-0 lead headed to the third period. In the third period, the teams would trade goals getting the lone Cardinal goal would be Nick Belger as the Knights would secure the 7-1 victory. In the losing effort, the Cardinals goaltenders would combine for 23 saves as the Cardinals go to 20-4-3 on the season and wait to see if they get an at large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Gallery.

It would be the classic rivalry this time in the SUNYAC Semi-Finals as the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #4 Oswego State Lakers. It would take until the 8:15 mark of the second period until we would have a goal from Jesse Neher to give the Cardinals the 1-0 lead. The Lakers would get two goals in the remainder of the period to give the Lakers a 2-1 lead after two periods. The Cardinals Nick Belger would tie the game up at 2 at the 7:17 mark of the third period on a power-play goal. Then the Cardinals would score again at the 10:09 mark from Dillan Fox to regain the lead at 3-2. Although the Lakers would get a late period goal to tie the game and send it to overtime. In that overtime Michael Radisa would score for the Cardinals at the 10:09 mark and give them the 4-3 win and send them to the SUNYAC Championship against Geneseo State. It would be the last regular-season game of the season and a battle of the top 2 SUNYAC teams as the #2 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #12 Geneseo State Knights. The Knights would get the opening goal of the game on a powerplay goal from Matt Solomann at 11:10 of the first period. The Cardinals would answer right back and tie it 1 18 seconds later on a Jesse Neher goal. Then at 13:29 of the first period, Stephen Collins would give the Knights the one-goal lead back. The Cardinals would tie the game back up again this time at two on Conor Gorman's goal at the 16:45 mark of the first period. The game would stay there all the way till the last minute of the second period when Patrick Hermans would score for the Cardinals to give them the 3-2 lead. Although the Knights would tie it at 3 in the first minute of the third period on a Pat Condon goal. The game would end up staying tied at three and the Cardinals would earn there the second tie of the weekend. The #2 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would play host to the Brockport State Golden Eagles. The game would remain scoreless until the 1:59 mark of the second period when Plattsburgh State's Kyle Hall would give the Cardinals the 1-0 lead. The Eagles would soar back with two-goal in a three-minute span Adian Verbeke to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead. The Cardinals would come back and tie the game up at 17:09 on Chris Taff's goal to make it 2-2. The Cardinals would regain the lead at 3-2 on the Dillan Fox goal. The Eagles would come back again and tie it at three on a Zack Slichick goal. They would go to overtime but there would be no change and the game would end in a three-all tie. Then at the 12:44 mark of the second period, the Cardinals would extend the lead to 5-1 on Mike Radisia's goal. Then at the 15:45 mark of the second period the Cardinals would make it 6-1 on Nick Belger's goal. The game would stay there till the last second of the game when the Cardinals would score on Santino Ragone's power-play goal to secure the 7-1 victory. Oswego would come back and tie the game up back up at 11:54 of the second. The game would remain there till the early minutes of the third when Oswego would take the 3-2 lead. The game would stay there till about two minutes left in the game when the Cardinals would tie it up on a 4x4 goal by Anthony Calabrese. The game would go to overtime where Connor Gorman would get the game-winner with 2 seconds left to secure the 4-3 victory. Then the Kangaroos would finally get on the period with two-goal in a two-minute span in the second period to make it 6-2 at the end of the second period. Then a 1:20 into the third period Pat Egan would strike to extend the Cardinals lead to 7-2. Then in the closing minutes of the game, the Cardinals would strike with Luke Baleshetea's second goal of the night to finish off the game and give the Cardinals the 8-2 victory.
