#1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #3 Utica Pioneers March 5th 2016
Plattsburgh State's team poses for there team photo as they are crowned the 2016 ECAC West Champions. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #3 Utica Pioneers in the 2016 ECAC West Championship. The Cardinals would show their muscle early in the contest scoring four goals in the first period from Karen Hudson, Kayla Meneghain, Jordan Lipson and Courtney Moriarty for the 4-0 lead. In the second period, the Cardinals would add two more goals from Melissa Sheeran, and Melissa Ames for 6-0 lead. In the third period, the Cardinals would put the icing on the cake with two more goals Courtney Moriarty (second of the night), and Jordan Lipson (second of the night) to secure the 8-0 victory. In the winning effort, the Cardinals would be crowned the 2016 ECAC West Champions and Camille Leonard would stop all 17 shots in the shutout victory as they head to the NCAA Tournament. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Melissa Sheeran (26) slides the puck by on the far side for the goal. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #3 Utica Pioneers in the 2016 ECAC West Championship. The Cardinals would show their muscle early in the contest scoring four goals in the first period from Karen Hudson, Kayla Meneghain, Jordan Lipson and Courtney Moriarty for the 4-0 lead. Plattsburgh State's Melissa Sheeran (26) slides it past the goalies outreached stick for the goal. It would be the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals hosting the #5 Oswego State Lakers in the ECAC West Semi-Finals. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead in the first on Andrea Ziesmann's goal. In the second period, the Cardinals would add two more from Jordan Lipson and Mackenize Millen to make it 3-0. In the third period, the Cardinals would add to more both coming from Melissa Sheeran to secure the 5-0 victory. In the winning effort, Camille Leonard would make 15 saves in the shutout win to advance to the ECAC West Championship. Gallery
