The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead on Melissa Ames goal at the 4 minute mark of the first. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 on Julia Duquette's goal at the 10 minute mark of the first. The game would stay there til the 4:05 mark of the second period when Karen Hudson would extend it to 3-0. Then at the 7:30 mark Mackenize Millen would make it 4-0.
