The game would be tied at 1 after the first. Then in the rest of the game, the Chiefs would get 13 unanswered runs and cruise to the victory. Saranac's Andrew Petro would go five innings striking out four while giving up one hit and one walk. With the victory, the Chiefs improve there record to 6-2 on the season. Gallery

The game would be a great game all the way through with both teams getting there chances. The lone goal would come with 7 minutes remaining in the game when Shawn Nulverhill lite the lamp. This would be a very important win for the team as it would give Coach Chuck Dievendorf his 300th career victory. With the win, the Malone Huskies finish there regular season at 2-18. Gallery

The Chiefs would get two goals in the first from Jeff Kurz and Matt Macasland to take the 2-0 lead after one. The scoring would open up in the 2nd period as the teams would combine for 5 goals. Scoring would be Joey Bridgeman and Matt Macasland for the Chiefs and for the Huskies Tanner Studlack, Jake Henning, and Trevor Henderson. Saranac would take the 4-3 lead into the third. The Chiefs would finish off the game two goals in the third by Macasland and McCall for the 6-3 win. In the winning effort, Zach Lareau would stop 45 of 48 shots. Malone Huskies Dan Rondeau with the big statue of liberty save on the wrister on the night. The Malone Huskies would fall to the Lake Placid Blue Bombers 5-3 in nonleague action. The Blue Bombers would get the quick 1-0 lead 9 seconds in. The Huskies would tie it back up later in the first on Jacob Henning's goal. The Blue Bombers answer with another goal to take the 2-1 into the break. Then in the second period, the Blue Bombers would get another one for the 3-1 lead. Before the Huskies would come charging back to tie it at 3 on Tanner Studlack and Jacob Henning (2nd of the night) goal. Then in the third, the Blue Bombers would take the lead for good with three minutes left. Then they would add an empty netter for the 5-3 final. In the lose Dan Rondeau would stop 26 shots. It would be the Saranac Chiefs meeting up with Beekmantown Eagles in the semis of the Northern Football Conference Class B playoffs. It would be a tight game through the first half as the Eagles would take a 14-0 lead in the break. Then on the opening drive of the second half, the Eagles would score and that would end it for the Chief. As the Eagles would go to score twice more and get the 34-0 victory. With the lose the season comes to end for the Chiefs with a 6-3 record. As the Beekmantown Eagles advance to the Class B Championship against the Peru Indians at Ausable Valley. Gallery.
