Plattsburgh State's Ashley Songin (12) goes for the puck on the scramble play in front of the net. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #4 Utica Pioneers in the ECAC West Semi-Finals. The game would remain scoreless until the 1:09 mark of the second period when Mackenize Millen would score for the Cardinals to make it 1-0. The Cardinals would extend there lead to 2-0 on Melissa Sheeran's goal at 13:49. Then just 17 seconds later the Pioneers would score to keep it a one-goal game. The Cardinals would regain the two-goal lead at 3-1 on Erin Brand's powerplay goal. Then just 45 seconds later Erin Brand would score again on the power play to make it 4-1. Then at the 9:33 mark of the third period Cardinals, Melissa Sheeran would get her second goal of the night to make it 5-1. Then at 16:32 of the third period, Kayla Meneghan would score to end the game at 6-1. In the winning effort, Cammie Leonard would make 33 saves as the Cardinals advance to the ECAC West Championship against Elmira. Gallery

The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Utica Pioneers on the second game of weekend doubleheader in ECAC West play. The game would remain scoreless through the first period and the Pioneers would take the 1-0 lead a minute into the second period. The Cardinals would fight back and tie the game at one Kayla Meneghin goal. Then the Cardinals would take the 2-1 lead at the four-minute mark of third on Kayla Meneghin shorthanded goal. Then in the final minute of the game, Megan Crandell would add the empty netter to secure the 3-1 victory. In the winning effort, Camille Leonard would make 14 saves as the Cardinals go to 16-1 on the season. Gallery

The Cardinals would open the scoring at 3:20 of the first period on the Sarah Wolfe goal to make it 1-0. Then at the 7:57 mark of the 1st period, the Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 on the Megan Crandell goal. Then under a minute later the Cardinals would make it 3-0 on the Melissa Ames goal. The Cardinals would add one more in the 1st period on the Meghan Kraus goal to make it 4-0. The Pioneers would get on the board near the need of the first to make it 4-1 Cardinals after the 1st period. That is where the game would stay until the 9-minute mark of the third when the Pioneers would score to make it 4-2. Then just over two minutes later the Cardinals would regain their three-goal lead at 5-2 on Ashley Songin goal. The Cardinals would start off hot and not look back as they would get three goals in the first period from Meghan Kraus, Melissa Sheehan, and Kayla Meneghin for the 3-0 lead. In the second period the Cardinals would add three more goals from Jordan Lipton (twice) and Katelyn Turk for the 6-0 lead. In the third period, the teams would trade a pair of goals with the Cardinal goal coming from Kayla Meneghin shorthand goal second of the night as the Cardinals would hold on for the 7-1 victory. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals celebrate as they are heading back to another NCAA Frozen Four. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #6 Amherst Lady Jeffs in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. The game would remain scoreless until 6:12 of the second period when Kayla Menehgain would score to give the Cardinals 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would expand there lead to 2-0 at 8:19 on Melisa Ames goal. The Cardinals would finish off the second period with a Melissa Sheeran goal to make it 3-0 after the second period. When the third period started the Cardinals would keep control as they would expand the lead to 4-0 on Mackenize Millen's goal. The Cardinals would put the icing on the cake in the final minute of the game on a Bridget Baisley goal to secure the 5-0 victory. In the winning effort, Camille Leonard would make 25 saves in the shutout effort as the Cardinals advance to the NCAA Final Four. Gallery
