The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would continue there early season homestand as they would take on in state rival the RPI Engineers in non conference action at the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse. The Cardinals would get the opening goal of the game at the 14th minute on the Kirsten Villemaire goal. The Cardinals would double up there lead at the 27th minute on the Nora Fitzgerald goal to make it a 2-0 game. From there the Cardinals head into a shutdown defense and hold onto the 2-0 game for the victory. Ausable Valley's Kaydence Hoehn with the shot on net to beat the goalie for one of her four goals on the night. It would be home opener for last years defending New York State class C Champions as they would host neighbor the Peru Nighthawks in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action. The game would start off good for the Patriots as they would get six goals in the first half from Kate Knapp, Sara Richards, Kaydence Hoehn (twice), Addie Stanley, and Jillian Beizo. In the second half it would be more of the same as they would add another four goals from Lilley Keyser, Kaydence Hoehn (third and fourth of the night) and Addie Stanley (second of the night) to finish of the Nighthawks. In the winning effort the Patriots go to 1-1 on the season while Nighthawks go to 0-3 on the early season. Gallery

Peru's goalie with the save on the long distance shot on net. It would be the start of the high school girl's soccer season with the Jan Davis Memorial Tournament at Chazy High School as the Plattsburgh Hornets would take on the Peru Nighthawks. The game would start great for the Nighthawks as they would strike twice in the first with goals from Duprey and Phillips for the 2-0 lead at the intermission. The second half would start off the same way for the Nighthawks as in the 46th minute Duprey would get her second of the game to make it a 3-0 Nighthawks. Then in the 54th minute the Hornets would get on the board with a Amaya Abellard goal to make it 3-1. Then just six minutes later Abellard would strike again and make it 3-2 with 20 minutes left in the game. Then with just just over eight minutes left in the game the Hornets would strike again from Abellard to tie the game at three and finish off her hat trick. Then inside the final minute of the game Bailey Hewson would strike to give the Plattsburgh Hornets the 4-3 victory and advance to the championship against Chazy. Gallery
