The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would continue there early season homestand as they would take on in state rival the RPI Engineers in non conference action at the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse. The Cardinals would get the opening goal of the game at the 14th minute on the Kirsten Villemaire goal. The Cardinals would double up there lead at the 27th minute on the Nora Fitzgerald goal to make it a 2-0 game. From there the Cardinals head into a shutdown defense and hold onto the 2-0 game for the victory.
