Then in the 2nd minute of overtime Reid Laplante would score the lone goal of the game with Nick Ashline picking up the assist. In the winning effort, Josh Trombley would make two saves for the shutout as the Bulldogs go to 5-2 on the season.

Boys Soccer - NAC Bobcats vs E-Town - Westport Griffins 09-24-2014 - Highlights

Elizabethtown/Westport Griffins would defeat NAC Bobcats 2-1 in MVAC action. In the first half, Joel Morris(9) - Griffins - would score at 12:51 assisted by Isaiah Turner(3) to give the Griffins a 1-0 lead. Later on, in the half, Turner(3) would score at 16:32 assisted by Morris(9) to give the Griffins a 2-0 lead. NAC would get on the board by Cory Lafountain; the goal was unassisted to cut the lead to 2-1 but it wasn't enough as the Griffins would hold on and win 2-1. The Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead in the 21st minute on Danielle Charland's goal. Then in the 50th minute, the Bulldogs would extend the lead to 2-0 on Alica Cook's goal. Then in the 67th minute, the lead would go to 3-0 on Katie Beach's goal. Then to finish off the game the Bulldogs would add one more to secure the 4-0 win in the 78th minute Kayley Whyte's goal. In the winning effort, the Bulldogs would combine for four saves in the shutout victory as they would go to 5-1 on the season.
