The Malone Huskies team celeberates as they recieve there throphy for winning the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be the Malone Huskies hosting the Potsdam Sandstoners in the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be a close game through out the first half as both teams would trade scores back and forth with the Huskies taking at 27-20 lead into the break. Although when the second half would start the Huskies would show there dominance as they would score four times in the third quarter to end up getting the 48-20 victory. In the winning effort John Picarco would have a three touchdown day. With the win the Malone Huskies advance to the state playoffs against Brunt Hill next weekend at Stillwater High School.Gallery

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Ashton Hogan (17) with the shot from the left faceoff circle that hits the back of the net for the goal. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would open up there 2011-2012 campaign with a 5-0 victory at home against fellow ECAC-West member Potsdam State Bears. The game would be close at 1-0 entering the 3rd period until the Cardinals would light lamp four times to secure the 5-0 win. It would be the Saranac Chiefs meeting up with Beekmantown Eagles in the semis of the Northern Football Conference Class B playoffs. It would be a tight game through the first half as the Eagles would take a 14-0 lead in the break. Then on the opening drive of the second half, the Eagles would score and that would end it for the Chief. As the Eagles would go to score twice more and get the 34-0 victory. With the lose the season comes to end for the Chiefs with a 6-3 record. As the Beekmantown Eagles advance to the Class B Championship against the Peru Indians at Ausable Valley. Gallery

Chateaugay Bulldog's Katelyn Legacy (10) with the spike at the net to the middle of the court for the point. #1 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host #4 Brushton-Moria Panther in the Section X Class D Semi-Finals. The bulldogs would get the straight-set victory 25-3, 25-13, 25-9. With the win, the Bulldog's make the return trip to the Section X Class D finals on Friday in Canton against the winner of Tupper Lake and Edwards-Knox. Gallery

Malone Huskies Megan Taverina battles with the Canton Golden Bear midfielder along the sidelines. As the Malone Huskies would go onto defeat the Canton Golden Bears 1-0 on an own goal late in the first half. With the win, the Malone Huskies improve to 8-7 overall and 3-4 in the central division.
