It would be the Malone Huskies hosting the Potsdam Sandstones in the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be a close game throughout the first half as both teams would trade scores back and forth with the Huskies taking at 27-20 lead into the break. Although when the second half would start the Huskies would show their dominance as they would score four times in the third quarter to end up getting the 48-20 victory. In the winning effort John Picarco would have a three-touchdown day. With the win, the Malone Huskies advance to the state playoffs against Brunt Hill next weekend at Stillwater High School. It would be the Malone Huskies hosting the Potsdam Sandstoners in the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would open up there 2011-2012 campaign with a 5-0 victory at home against fellow ECAC-West member Potsdam State Bears. The game would be close at 1-0 entering the 3rd period until the Cardinals would light lamp four times to secure the 5-0 win. Plattsburgh State Cardinals Jenny Kistner (8) put the puck to the top shelf over the goalie for the score. The #8 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would get the 4-1 victory over the Buffalo State Bengals in ECAC-West play. The Cardinals would open up the scoring in the second on three goals coming from Alyssa Parke, Allison Era, and Jenny Kistner. They would add one from Emma Rutherford in the third period. The Bengals would get a goal late to make it 4-1. Sydney Aveson would stop 20 of 21 as the Cardinals improve to 6-2-1 on the season. Gallery

Saranac Chiefs Ryan St. Clair (35) breaks through the tackle of the Beekmantown Eagles and bounces to sidelines. It would be the Saranac Chiefs meeting up with Beekmantown Eagles in the semis of the Northern Football Conference Class B playoffs. It would be a tight game through the first half as the Eagles would take a 14-0 lead in the break. Then on the opening drive of the second half, the Eagles would score and that would end it for the Chief. As the Eagles would go to score twice more and get the 34-0 victory. With the lose the season comes to end for the Chiefs with a 6-3 record. As the Beekmantown Eagles advance to the Class B Championship against the Peru Indians at Ausable Valley. Gallery.
