Neil Martin (9) and Dale O'Neil on the parade laps before the mini-modified heat race. It would be the Econo Lodge season opener at Airborne Park Speedway. The racing was scheduled to start at 5pm but rain would fall off and one throughout the evening delaying action. The Airborne Park Speedway staff would do there best to dry the track and on two separate occasions they would have the track dried and ready to go only to have the rains come again. So there would be no racing on this given night and season will get started next Saturday night May 10 with the KD Trailer Sales Fan Appreciation Night race time scheduled for 5 pm.

Westport Eagles Vs Keene Beavers May 2, 2014

Westport Eagle's James Moricette (2) slides home, with the winning run, on a passed ball in the bottom of the 8th inning as the Eagles beat the Keene Beavers 5-4 in 8 innings in MVAC baseball action. The bottom of the 8th inning started with Moricette leading off with a base hit. He would steal second and third base. Brian Christian (6) would walk to have a 1st and 3rd situation with no outs. Christian would steal 2nd with no throw made and Tyler Tryon (27) and Ryan Hance (19) would strikeout to have a 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs and the leadoff hitter was up. Thomas Mero (4) would be batting when pitcher Jesse Summer (24) would throw a passed ball and allow for Moricette to score winning the game. 1st Baseman Moricette would go 1-3 in the game with 4 SB and reaching 1st on a throwing error and a dropped third strike. Center fielder John Doyle (10) would go 2-4 with 3 SB, 1 2B, and would strike out twice for the Eagles. The Beavers 2nd Baseman Colton Veneer (11) would go 2-4 with a pair of hits and a pair of stolen bases. He would strike out twice in the game. For the Eagles pitcher, Dylan Liaslan (22) would pitch 6 strong innings with 9 K and would end up with a no-decision in the game. For the Beavers pitcher Summer would pitch 8 innings with 13 strikeouts, one walk in a loss. Gallery.

Malone Huskies Vs #11 Peru Indians May 1 2014

Peru's Connor Casey (11) slides in safe at the plate as Malone's Alex Garvell (12) goes flying over the top on the high throw. The Malone Huskies would host the #11 Peru Indians in non-league action. The Indians would take the 1-0 lead in the second inning when Connor Casey would score on the wild pitch. Although the Huskies would come right back in the bottom of the inning and score fours on one play as the Indians would through the ball around like a hot potato and take a 4-1 lead. The Indians would come back in the third inning and get one on Mitch Cunningham RBI single to make it 4-2. Although the game would not get any closer and the Huskies would have some great defense and secure the 4-2 victory. In the winning effort, Malone's Alex Johnson would go four innings of shutout ball will striking out four and giving up one hit in the win as the Huskies go to 2-2 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Norwich Cadets April 28 2014

Plattsburgh State's Joe Leddy (24)deliveries the strike for the strikeout as part of six strikeout game. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Norwich Cadets in the last game of the season at Chip Cummings for 2014. The Norwich Cadets would try to end the senoir send off when they would take the 1-0 lead in second Kyle Lamorey would score on the sacrifice fly. The Cardinals would come back and tie the game up in the bottom of the inning at one when John Casten would score on the sacrifice fly. The Cardinals would take the 2-1 lead in the third when Yayu Oswawa would score on the fielder's choice to make it 2-1. The score would stay there till the sixth inning when the Cardinals would get two runs on a pair of RBI singles from John Casten and Brian Latulipe to take the 4-1 lead. From there the Cardinals shutdown defense and Joe Leddy would hold on for the 4-1 victory. In the winning effort, Joe Leddy would go the complete game giving up one run on five hits while striking out six as the Cardinals go to 13-21 on the season. Gallery.

Adirondack J's Craig Livsey (4) with the leaping pass break up along the sidelines. It would be the semi-finals of the indoor flag football league as the #2 CJ Tunes & Photography would meet up with the #3 Adirondack J's. It would be a defensive battle through the first half as the Adirondack J's would have the slim 16-13 lead at the break. In the second half, the Adirondack J's offense would come alive as they would win the half 27-14 and take the 43-27 victory. In the winning effort the Adirondack J's move on to the Championship and take on the Rebels for the title. Gallery.

The Rebels pose for there team photo as they are crowned the 2014 Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football Session II Champions. The #1 Rebels would meet up with the #3 Adirondack J's for the 2014 Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football Session II Championship. The two teams would be evenly matched throughout the game and the Adirondack J's had upset on the mind as they took the 22-19 lead at the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half the intensity would remain between the two teams as the Rebels would win the half 19-14 and with that, they would take the 38-36 victory and the 2014 championship. Rebels defender with the pass breaks up along the sidelines on Rand Hill Painters Scott Aguila. The Indoor Plattsburgh Football League would start there playoffs the #1 Rebels taking on the #8 Rand Hill Painters in the 1st Round. The Rand Hill Painters would have upset on there mind as they would take a 27-20 lead at the break. Throughout the second half, the Painters would keep there lead intact until 5 minutes left when the Rebels would take the lead and win the game 60-47. With the win, the Rebels head to the Semi-Finals and await the winner of the Pink Panthers and Ravens. Gallery.

#2 CJ Tunes & Photography Vs #7 Kneucraft April 24 2014

CJ Tunes & Photography wide receiver with the leaping catch over the middle for the touchdown It would be the second game of the first round of the Indoor Flag Football League playoffs and it would feature #2 CJ Tunes & Photography Vs #7 Kneucraft. The game would be a low scoring affair throughout and CJ Tunes would have the slim 20-13 lead at the half. In the second half, the defense would be on top of the game Kneucraft would win the half 12-8 although CJ Tunes and Photography would hold onto the 28-25 victory. In the winning effort, they advance to semi-finals and await the winner of the Adirondack J's and GC Warriors. Gallery.

Westport Eagles vs. Crown Point Panthers April 24, 2014

The Westport Eagles would score a run in extra innings as they battle the Crown Point Panthers in a nail biter that two days to complete. The first day the game was 10-10 going into the 10th inning. When play resumed Crown Point batted around the order and would score 6 runs in the 10 inning. It would start off with Jeremy McIntosh would ground out for the 1st out. Then Calvin Arno would get a base hit and steal 2nd. Chad DeBrokarder would get a base hit. Then Jaice Sperm would also get a base hit. Then Kolby Peetak would get a walked to load up the bases. DeBrokarder would score on a fielding error and Sperm would score on a fielding error. Then Rigby Macey would get on base to have a 1st and 2nd with only 1 out. Then Joe Foote would fly out to center for the 2nd out of the inning. Sam Mockery would bat next and get an RBI as he reaches 2nd base on a two-base error then scored from 2nd base on a fielder's choice by Broward Crowningshield. McIntosh would bat again in the inning and would be walked. Arno would take his 2nd at-bat of the inning and also be walked to load the bases again. DeBrokarder would ground out to end the inning as the Panthers would beat the Eagles 16-10 in 10 innings. Westport's Thomas Mero (4) would go 1-4 with 2 runs and 2 stolen bases. John Doyle (10) would go 1-2 with a base hit, 3 stolen bases, 1 RBI, and 2 walks. Gallery.

#3 Adirondack J's Vs #6 G.C. Warriors April 24 2014

Adirondack J's D.J. Barber with the pass breaks up along the backline to save the touchdown from G.C. Warrior Haiden Fountain. In the third 1st Round game the #3 Adirondack J's would meet up with the G.C. Warriors. In a game that would be very hotly contested through the Adirondack J's would take a 12-6 lead at the break. In the second half the offenses would wake up the J's would win the half 24-19 and secure the 38-25 victory. With the win the Adirondack J's move onto the Semi-Finals and take on CJ Tunes & Photography. Gallery.
