It would be a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference matchup between crosstown rivals the Plattsburgh Hornets and the Peru Nighthawks. Before the game started the Hornets would honor their seven seniors on the team. The home Hornets would come out hot and breakout to a big lead with a 23-9 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Hornets would stay hot with a 15-7 quarter and take a 42-16 lead into the intermission. The third quarter would be the evenest quarter of the night as the Hornets would win the quarter at 15-12 and take a 57-28 lead into the fourth quarter. In that fourth quarter, the teams would still play tight but the early deficit was too much as the Hornets win the quarter 15-10 and secure the 72-38 victory. Peru's Mia Marino (2) with the three from the wing It would be a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference matchup between the host Peru Nighthawks and the visiting Ticonderoga Sentinels. The game would start off good for the home Nighthawks as they would be doubling up the Sentinels after the first quarter at 15-6. In the second quarter, the Nighthawks would continue to pull away with a 13-3 quarter and take a 28-9 lead into the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Nighthawks would keep their foot on the gas with a 15-6 quarter to extend their lead to 43-15 as they head into the fourth. In that fourth quarter, the Nighthawks would lighten up with the outcome, not in question with a 13-10 quarter, and secure the 56-25 win. Leading the way on the night would be Kortney McCarthy would be 19 points as they go to 6-5 on the season while Ticonderoga falls to 5-3 on the season. Gallery.

It would be a matchup between the Champlain and Mountain Valley as the Peru Nighthawks would host the Northern Adirondack Bobcats. The game would not be going that well for the home Nighthawks as they would be down 23-9 at the break. In the second half, they wouldn't give although the Bobcats would be too much for them on this day as they win the half 27-15 and secure the 50-24 victory and Alexis Belrose would lead the way with 14 points on the night. It would be the second game of the night in the Clinton Community College Holiday Classic and it would feature long-time rivals the Beekmantown Eagles and the Peru Nighthawks and after the first quarter, Nighthawks would have a slim 9-8 lead. In the second quarter, the Eagles would find their offense and take the 19-17 lead at the break on the strength of an 11-8 quarter. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Eagles would keep up their hot offense with a 17-6 quarter and take the 36-23 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Eagles would keep scoring and take the quarter 9-8 and secure the 44-32 victory and go to 4-5 on the season while the Knighthawks fall to 5-3 on the season. Gallery

Peru's Jack Hansen (33) fights through the tackles and hits the gap for the big gain and first down. It would be the start of football championship weekend for the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference with the Class B title on the line between the #1 Peru Nighthawks and the #2 Plattsburgh Hornets at the Beekmantown High School. In the classic rivalry between the Peru Nighthawks and Plattsburgh Hornets, the defenses would be the stars of the game for the most part. As the Nighthawks would not get on the board till the 8:53 mark of the second quarter when Landen Duprey would score on the touchdown pass from Zach O'Connell. That is where the score would style through the remainder of the half. The Nighthawks would get their second score of the game from Zach O'Connell with 1:30 left in the third quarter on a one-yard quarterback keeper to make it 14-0 Peru. Then in the final minutes of the game, the Nighthawks would tack on a 41-yard field goal from Keegan Smith to give them the 17-0 victory and the 2021 Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Class B Championship. With the win, they improve to 6-2 on the season and advance to the NYSPHSAA Tournament and will play the Massena Red Raiders in the opening round while the Plattsburgh Hornets season comes to end at 4-4.
