The first half would not go the way the home Cardinals were hoping for as they would be trailing the Panthers 47-34. In the second half, the Cardinals would do their best to try and keep it close but the Panthers would just do too much on this day as they would win the half 35-27 and secure the 82-61 for the Panthers. In a losing effort for the Cardinals, Kevin Tabb would have a team night 11 points as they would fall to 1-8 on the season with the next tilt after the New Year against the Clarkson Golden Knights. The game would be tight throughout the first half as the Panthers would have a slim 39-33 lead at the break. In the second half the Panthers offense would come alive as they would win the half 52-37 and the Cardinals would fall 91-70.
