RJ Smith and Chevy Silverado are slinging the mud down the track during the 2.6 Cheater Truck class as part of the Pulling for Logan Benefit Pull. The Franklin County Field Days in Highgate, VT would be home to the Pulling for Loan Benefit Pull. In the midst of the raindrops pullers and fans alike would turn out for the great event. There would be 130 pullers divided up between 25 different classes from stock trucks all the way up to the big 4x4 tractors. There would around 800 spectators that would come through the gate to see the pulling action along with helping a great cause. Beekmantown's Austin Bradish(12) makes contact on the heater and sends it to the outfield for a base hit. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Schlamont Sabres in the opening round of the New York State Class B Playoffs. The game would be pitching duel through the first four innings with only four hits combined by the teams. The Eagles would actually strike first to take a 1-0 lead. Then at the top of the 5th, the Sabres bats would come alive and the Eagles defense would fall to execute some plays and the Sabres would strike for 6 runs and have a 6-1 lead. The Eagles would try there best to get back in the game in the bottom of the inning as they would score two to make it 6-3. Then in the seventh inning, the Sabres would put the final touches of the game as they would score four more runs and secure the 10-3 victory. With the defeat, the Eagles season would come to an end as they finish the season with a record of 18-4. Gallery

A couple of local kids take a ride down the water slide at the kid's day event. The Ellenburg Center Fire Department would hold there second annual kids day at the station. There would be around 30 kids that would take part. They would offer bounce house, water slide, tattoos, snow-cones, popcorn, lunch, and other goodies. The Clinton County Safety Trailer would also be there showing the kids what to do in case of a fire. The Beekmantown Eagles rush home plate and the party is on as Brandon Rabideau scores the game-winning run on Zack Myers walk-off single to give them the section VII title. The Beekmantown Eagles and Peru Indians would face off for the Section VII Class B title at Chip Cummings Field for the right to go the state playoffs. The Indians would take the 1-0 lead in first to get everything started. The Indians would extend it to 3-0 in third. Then at the bottom of the third, the Eagles would get right back in the game and tie it at three with three runs of there own. The Indians would regain the lead at 4-3 in the fifth. Although the relentless Eagles would tie it back up in the 6th to make it 4-4. Then the big drama would come in the bottom of the seventh when Zack Myers would get the game-winning walk-off single that would score Brandon Rabideau to give the Eagles the 5-4 win and Section VII Title. Getting the win on the mound for the Eagles would be Brandon Rabideau. With the win, the Beekmantown Eagles now head to state play where they play Schalmont on June 3rd at Chip Cummings Field. Beekmantown's Austin Bradish (12) picks the short bunt fires to first from his backside for the out. The #1 Beekmantown Eagles hosted #4 Northeastern Clinton Cougars in Section 7 Semi-Final action. The Cougars would out to the quick 1-0 lead after the first. That is where the score would remain until the third when the Eagles would bounce back with three runs to take a 3-1 lead. The Cougars would come right back in the fourth and score two runs to tie the game at 3. Then om fifth the Eagles would take back the lead at 4-3. Then in the sixth they would add an insurance run to secure the 5-3 win. Getting the win for the Eagles would be Austin Bradish as he struck out three and gave up four hits three walks and three runs. With the win, the Eagles advance to the finals against the Peru Indians at Chip Cummings Field on May 30th. Gallery

Chateaugay's Rachel Young (3) slides in safe at the plate under the tag of the Madrid-Waddington catcher at the plate on a passed ball. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Madrid-Waddington Yellowjackets in Section X Class D Quarterfinal playoff action. The Yellowjackets would start off with upset on there mind as they would get single runs in the first and second inning to take a 2-0 lead. Then the Yellowjackets would get two in the third to make it 4-0 Yellowjackets. Although at the bottom of the third the Bulldogs would get on the broad with 3 runs to make it 4-3. They would then pull ahead in the bottom of the fourth with four runs to make it 7-4. Then before the fifth could be started the rains would come and the umpires would hold the game up and later suspended due to unplayable field conditions. The game was scheduled to be resumed on May 23 but rain would postpone the game again and now scheduled to be restarted on Tuesday, May 28th. Gallery

Peabodies Matt Rivers (88) ranges far to the his right to pick the grounder behind second for the fire to first for the out. The Peabodies Padres would take on the Meron's Expos in Week 3 of the Champlain Valley Baseball League. In game one the Expos would take the 1-0 lead in the first inning. The game would stay there till the fourth when the Expos would add four more runs to extend the lead to 5-0. The Expos would get two more in the fifth to secure the 7-0 victory. Getting the win for the Expos Billy Davis would pitch the shutout giving up just four hits and striking out two. As the teams would return for the second game the Padres would take the quick 1-0 lead on Jeff Norton's RBI double. The score would stay way until the third when the Padres would get three runs thanks to Matthew Hart's two RBI single and Brady Burleigh's RBI single to make it 4-0. The Expos woud do there best to get back in as they cut the lead in half with two runs in the fourth couldn't get any closer though. As the Padres would get the 4-2 win to earn the split on the day. In the win for game two Frank Brogna would go four innings strike out one give up two runs on three hits. With the splits the Padres go to 2-4 on the season. Gallery

The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers in doubleheader east division action. The Bulldogs would make easy work of the Panthers in the opening game as they would take the 22-9 victory. Then when the teams would return for the second game the Panthers would give them a better fight although the Bulldogs would still get the 9-2 victory. With the wins the Bulldogs will secure a first-round home game as they go to 11-4 on the season. In the winning effort, Courtney Boyea would strike out four. Gallery

Chateaugay's Nick Ashline (6) slides in safe at the plate under the tag for the score. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers in east division doubleheader action. In-game one the Bulldogs would fall just short by a score of 6-5 thanks to some untimely errors down the stretch. In the second game though they would pull things together and get a convincing 11-4 wins thanks to great pitching from Garett Labare and Nick Ashline. With the split, the Bulldogs go to 5-8 on the season as they continue there to push for one of the last two playoff spots. Gallery

Beekmantown's Devin Fessette (4) slides in safe under a leaping Saranac Lake short shop at second on steal of second base. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Saranac Lake Red Storm on Senior Day in a CVAC Division 1 clash. The Red Storm were looking to spoil the seniors last game as they jump out to the 1-0 lead after the first inning. That is where the game would remain until the third inning when the Eagles would get two to take the 2-1 lead. Then in the fourth inning, the Eagles would start to take command as they would score times to take the comfortable 7-2 lead as the Red Storm would get one at the top of the inning. The teams would trade runs in the fifth to make the score 8-3. Then in the sixth, the Eagles would add one more to end the scoring and secure the 9-3 victory. Austin Bradish would go five innings strike of two and give up four hits in the winning effort.
