R.P.I. Engineers @ #4 Clarkson Golden Knights - January 3rd 2020
Clarkson's Anthony Romano (29) charging after the loose trying for the tying goal against the R.P.I. The #4 Clarkson Golden Knights would host the R.P.I. Engineers at the Cheel Arena for there first game of 2020 and since December 14th and come right back into conference play. The Engineers would jump out to a quick 1-0 lead as Simon Kjellberg would score 1:23 into the game and make it 1-0. The game would stay there all the way to the third period when the Engineers would double up there lead on the Ture Linden goal to make it 2-0 Engineers. The Golden Knights would get on the board with just over five minutes left in the game with a Mathieu Gosselin goal to make it 2-1. Although they would not be able to get the equalizer and the Engineers would get an empty-net goal in the final minute from Will Reilly to secure the 3-1 win for the Engineers. In the losing effort, Frank Marotte would make 23 saves as the Golden Knights fall to 13-4-2. The Golden Knights will be back in action at home next weekend as they host the Princeton Tigers and Quinnipac Bobcats. Gallery.
Potsdam Sandstoners @ Plattsburgh Hornets High School Girls Hockey January 3rd 2020
Potsdam's Karley Green (12 breaks in front of Plattsburgh's Ava Juilan for the goal. The Plattsburgh High School girls’ hockey team suffered a 3-2 non-conference loss at home Jan. 3 against Potsdam. The game began well for the Lady Hornets, who built a 2-0 lead in the first period off goals from Amanda Vaughn and Avery Holland. The remainder of the game was an effort to maintain that lead, unsuccessfully. The Sandstoners got on the board at the 11-minute mark of the second period, as the Hornets turned the puck over at the offensive blue line, and two Plattsburgh defensemen collided with one another to send Potsdam freshman Kennedy Emerson on a breakaway. That would be the theme of the third period, as Potsdam junior Karley Green beat Plattsburgh goaltender Ava Julian on a breakaway of her own at the 10:03 mark to tie the contest. With the game seemingly destined for overtime, the Sandstoners showed they had other ideas. A breakout pass from Green found Emerson, who blew past the Hornets’ defense in the neutral zone and deked around Julian in the crease to tap the puck in on the backhand. With Emerson’s second tally coming with only 17 seconds remaining, the Lady Hornets were unable to overcome the deficit and lost a game they had led 2-0 at the halfway mark.

Endicott Gulls Vs Elimira Soaring Eagles - W.B. Mason Winter Classic Semi-Finals - January 3rd 2020
The Elmira Soaring Eagles celebrate as they get the game winner with 13 seconds left in the overtime. It would be the opening game of the W.B. Mason Winter Classic hosted by the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and would feature a matchup between the Endicott Gulls and the Elmira Soaring Eagles. The first period would take sometime to get going as there would be no scoring there would be three goals in 9 minutes. The Gulls would get two goals from James Winkler and Stev Kuxhynski as the Soaring Eagles would get a lone goal from Kale Kane and the Gulls would have a 2-1 lead after the first period. In the second period the offenses on both sides would be a scoring machince as they would combine for four goals in the period. Scoring for the Soaring Eagles would be Nick Ford and Marty Kaponian and for the Gulls it would be Luke Rogers and Bump Lisk as the Gulls would take a 4-3 lead into the final period. In the final period the Soaring Eagles would keep up the fight and win the period 2-1 and send the game to overtime. Scoring in the third period for the Soaring Eagles would be Stev Kunchynski and Matthew Cuce. In the overtime it was starting to look like we were headed to the shootout until Elimra's Nick Ford would rip one by the goalie to give the Soaring Eagles the 6-5 win in overtime. With the win the Soaring Eagles will head to the championship of the W.B. Mason Winter Classic against either host Plattsburgh State or Wentworth. Gallery.
2020 A New Year, A New Beginning
Thursday, January 2, 2020 - Over the last year, KC Photo Video has been making changes to it website that today is going live. We are very excited to be going live with this site. The new site has an updated look and feel that reflects our company's new color scheme and the new site is now mobile and touchscreen friendly. It is one site that has our DVD store and our other content like stories and images. You can now tweet our content and when you create an account, you can post comments and buy our DVD's. We are working on moving older content over to this new system. ALL CONTENT FROM 2019 is available. If you need to use the old site to get content that we haven't moved over yet, it is still available. In the main menu, it is located under the tab, Old Site. As always, have a Happy New Year.
Holy Cross Crusaders @ Siena Saints - December 29th 2019
Siena's Manny Camper (3) takes flight down the lane and lays it off the window for two of his five points on the afternoon. The Siena Saints would finish off the 2019 portion of there season as they host the Holy Cross Crusaders in a non-conference affair. It would be a game that the Saints would take the lead in the first five minutes and hold on from there but the Crusaders would keep it close throughout as the Saints would have a 45-37 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half the Saints would stay in control but the Crusaders would keep it close through the Saints would win the second half 29-25 and get the 74-62 victory. In the winning effort, Donald Carey would lead the way with 22 points as the Saints go to 5-5 on the season and Crusaders fall to 1-12 on the season. Gallery
Reading Royals @ Adirondack Thunder - December 28th 2019
Adirondack's Kelly Summers (27) and Reading's Sandstorm (32) come to blows in the third period. The Adirondack Thunder would finish off there weekend homestand this time with the Reading Royals in front of 3300 fans on 90s night. The Thunder would strike twice in the first period with a pair of powerplay goals from Matt Salahany and James Henry for the 2-0 lead. In the second period the Thunder would score three times on goals by James Henry, Casey Pierro-Zabat and Matt Salahany and that would be goal 2 of the night for Henry and Salahany. In the third period the Royals would score twice to avoid the shutout and the Thunder would add one more from Ludvig Larsson to secure the 6-2 victory. In the winning effort Eamon McAdams would make 38 saves as the Thunder would end there 11 game losing streak. Gallery.
Worcester Railers @ Adirondack Thunder - December 27th 2019
Adirondack's Mike Szmatula (91) with rebound goal to give the Thunder the lead late in the third period. The Adirondack Thunder would host the Worcester Railers in ECHL Hockey action in front of 3100 fans. The Railers would get the early lead at the 4:51 mark from Shane Walsh. The Thunder would answer back at the 11:07 on the Ara Nazarin goal to make it 1-1. About a minute and a half later the Railers would regain the 2-1 on Shane Walsh's second of the night. The Adirondack Thunder would retie the game up at 2 on Jake Linhart's goal to end the first period. After all the excitement in the first period, there would be a lone goal in the second period by Railers Jaxk Standers to make it 3-2. That's where the game would stay till halfway through the third period when Alex Tonge would score to tie the game at three. In the final five minutes of the period, the Thunder would get there first lead of the game at Mike Szmatula rebound goal at 4-3. Although the Railers would rally back and tie the game back up at 4 in the final minute on the Dante Salituro. In the overtime, the Railers would get the winner about two minutes in on the Dante Salituro second goal of the game. Gallery.
John Jay Indians @ Beekmantown Eagles - Applebees Winter Classic Championship - December 22nd 2019
The John Jay Indians celebrate as they are the 2019 Applebees Beekmantown Winter Classic champions. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the John Jay Indians in the 2019 Applebees Beekmantown Winter Classic Championship. The Indians would get the lone goal of the first period on the Kyle Petschek goal at the 7:49 mark to make it 1-0 Indians. In the second period, the Indians would take control as they would light the lamp 3 times on goals from Ethan Jackson, Mattie Wierl and Jack Browne to make it 4-0 Indians. In the third period, the Indians would add one more just to put the icing on the cake. Although the Eagles would avoid the shutout as Gavin Fessette would score in the final three minutes. In the losing effort, the Eagles would fall to 3-2 on the season. Gallery.
Rye Garrant Vs Northeastern Clinton Cougars - Applbees Winter Classic Consolation Game - December 22nd 2019
Rye's Sasha Vasyuta (27) with the pad save on the breakaway attempt by Northeastern Clinton's Lucas Bedard (17). It would be the consolation game of the Applebees' Beekmantown Winter Classic between the Rye Garnets and the Northeastern Clinton Cougars. It would be a matchup between a couple of evenly matched teams and there would be no scoring in the opening period. The Garnets would finally breakdown the wall at the 8:41 mark of the second period on the Cal McLoughlin goal to make it 1-0. The game would stay there til the six minute mark of the third period when the Cougars would tie the game up at one the Lucas Bedard goal. It was starting to look like overtime until Rye's Carter Bradford would come in on a breakaway and beat the goalie with 34 seconds left to give the Rye the 2-1 victory. In the losing effort the Cougars fall to 1-2 on the season Gallery.
Bucknell Bisons @ Siena Saints - December 21st 2019
Siena's Jalen Pickett (22) with the three from the wing as a pair of Bucknell defenders are chasing him down as part of a 12 point night. The Siena Saints would host the Bucknell Bisons in front of 5500 fans at the Times Union Center. It would be a game the Saints would start off in control of a gradually pull away and have a 43-31 lead at the intermission. In the second half the Bisons would make it a more competitive game and on a few occasions have it down to a five-point game and actually win the half 40-38. Although the Saint's hot start would be too much to handle and they would get the 81-71 victory. In the winning effort, Elijah Burns would lead the way with 28 points as the Saints go to 3-5 on the season and the Bison fall to 4-8 on the season. Next up for the Siena Saints is the MAAC season opener as they host Canisius. Gallery
