The Bulldogs would definitely be the better dog on this day as they would get the straight-sets win (25-11, 25-17, 25-18). The Bulldogs would get two quick goals in the first half from Tyler Jones & Chad Slater and would ride that to the 2-0 win in the home opener. In the winning effort, Josh Trombley would stop eight shots in the shutout victory as the Bulldogs go to 2-0 on the season. Gallery

The Bulldogs would make quick work of the Panthers winning in straight sets (25-10, 25-11, 25-9) to win the match in just over an hour. With the win, the Bulldogs go to 4-0 on the season. Gallery

Empire Football League Week 8:Plattsburgh North Stars Vs Syracuse Shock July 27 2013

Plattsburgh's Craig Livsey (4) times the hit just right and breaks up the pass to the flat. The Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Syracuse Shock in week four of the EFL season in what could be a preview of the championship game. The North Stars would strike just over four minutes into the game with a 23-yard strike to Brett Boyer to give the North Stars the 7-0 lead. Then with eight seconds left in the first Dexter Geohagan would catch the 13-yard pass in the corner to give the Stars the 14-0 lead. Then halfway through the second quarter, the Shock gets on the broad with the running touchdown to make it 14-6. Then with just three minutes left in the half DJ Barber would make a 20-yard field goal for the 17-6 lead at the break. The Shock would get the only score in the third quarter on the QB sneak to make it 17-12. Then just as the fourth quarter, the Stars would go up 24-12 on DJ Barbers TD Reception. Just three minutes later they would extend the lead to 31-18 on Dexter Geohagan's second touchdown of the night. Then to finish off the night Brandon St. John would have an interception for a touchdown to make it a 38-18 final and win for the North Stars. In the winning effort, Harry Rascoe would have 250 passing yards and four touchdown passes as the North Stars go to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the league. Gallery

Empire Football League Week 8: Plattsburgh North Stars @ Glens Falls Greenjackets September 14 2013

Plattsburgh's Brandon St. John (17) leaps up to break up the pass intended for Glens Falls' Alec Conover (9). The Plattsburgh North Stars would travel down to Glens Falls and take on the Greenjackets. The North Stars would take the quick 7-0 lead when Dexter Geohagan would run back the opening kickoff. Then they would strike again on there next drive on a long Touchdown pass to Dexter Geohagan to make it 14-0. Then the remainder of the first half the Greenjackets would charge back getting 10 points to make it 14-10 North Stars at intermission. When the teams would return for the second half the North Stars would extend there lead to 20-10 on Chris Fish's touchdown. The North Stars would strike again on Dexter Geohagan's third touchdown of the night to make it 26-10. The Greenjackets would do there best to try and get the win at the end scoring twice but the North Stars would hold on for 26-24 victory. With the win, the North Stars will go to 5-3 on the season with the there regular-season finale against the Watertown Red & Black. Gallery

Chateaugay's Katie Beach (7) sticks out the knee to block the ball and stop the attack. The Chateaugay Bulldog host rival Brushton-Moria Panthers in Section X East Division action. The game would be played in a steady mist throughout an already sloppy field. The Bulldogs would have a 1-0 lead at the break on Hannah Cook's goal. Then in the second half, the Bulldogs would be off to the races as they would get five goals coming from Danielle Charland, Katie Beach (twice), Hannah Cook, and Brianna Cook. The Panthers would get the their lone goal on a penalty kick. The Bulldogs would get the 6-1 win and improve to 3-0 on the season. Gallery

The Malone Huskies would host the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks in there home opener of there Section X season. The Huskies would make quick work of the Lumberjacks getting the quick three-game win in just under an hour. The Huskies would win the games by scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-10. Leading the way for the Huskies would be Whitney Legacy and Rachel Lamica as the Huskies go to 3-0 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Kayley Whyte (16) takes it to outside of St. Regis Falls' Kayla Jimenez (12) and runs to the goal. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host fellow Section X East Division foe the St. Regis Falls Saints. The Bulldogs would leave little doubt in the game as they would score in the 1st minute and would be off to the races. The Bulldogs would get seven goals in the first half to take a 7-0 lead. It would be more of the same in the second half as they would get five more goals as they cruise to the 12-0 win. Leading the way in the goal department for the Bulldogs would be Hannah Cook with four goals. Along with Danielle Charland and Katie Beach adding two apiece. With the win, the Bulldogs go to 2-0 as they play rival Brushton-Moria on September 13. Gallery

Stan Russell Benefit Dinner Ellenburg Center, NY September 7 2013

Stan Russell receives a check in the amount of over three thousand dollars to help with medical expenses. The Ellenburg Center Fire Department would have a spaghetti dinner to benefit there Fire Chief Stan Russell to help with the medical bills. There would be around 250 people that would come throughout the benefit. There would also be a 50/50 drawing along with a Chinese auction. The crowd would be study form the time it started right through the end. There were also many people that were taking orders to go. Gallery

The Malone Huskies would start the home portion of there season against rival Salmon River Shamrocks. It would be a very tightly contested game with many scoring chances on both sides. Although the Huskies would get lone goal in the 27th minute from Ieses Paranodes with the assist going to Alex Johnson . In the winning effort Austin Lamay would have 11 saves for the shutout. Salmon River's Harvy Smith would be just as good stop 12 on the night. As the Huskies go to 4-1 on the season with the win. Gallery
