Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football C.R. Tunes & Photography Vs Fastenal Pink Panthers November 22 2014

Fastenal's Chris Verkey (81) steps over CJ Tunes & Photography Jordan Gillespie for the extra yards. It would be the opening game of the Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football League and would pit the CJ Tunes & Photography and Fastenal Pink Panthers. It would be a hotly contested game throughout with no love loss between either team. CJ Tunes and Photography would have the 28-20 lead at the break. In the second half, it would be more of the same and Fastenal would do there best on a comeback bid and win the half 18-15. Although it wouldn't be enough as CJ Tunes and Photography would hold on for the 43-38 victory as CJ Tunes and Photography goes to 1-0 while the Fastenal Pink Panthers drop to 0-1. Gallery

SUNYAC Men's Hockey #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Morrisville State Mustangs November 21 2014

Plattsburgh State's Luke Baleshta (23) slides the puck in front of the goalie and across the crease. The #4 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Morrisville State Mustangs in SUNYAC play. It would be be looking like it was going to be a scoreless first until the Mustangs took 1-0 lead with 1:02 left in the period on the Zach Baker goal. When the teams came back for the second period the Cardinals would waste no time in tying the game up on Mark Constantine's goal 20 seconds into the period. Then at the 7:23 mark of the period, the Cardinals would take the 2-1 lead on the Michael Radisa goal. Then at the 16:52 mark of the period, the Mustangs would answer back on the Robert Molinaro goal to make it 2-2. Then just 15 seconds later the Cardinals would regain the lead at 3-2 on the Rich Botting goal. The game would stay there until the 8:43 mark of the third period when Zach Popp would score to make it 4-2. Then at the 14:30 mark of the third Joe Santino would score for the Mustangs to try and make it interesting down the stretch at 4-3. Although in the closing minute of the game Brandon O'Quinn would score the empty netter to secure the 5-3 victory. In the winning effort, Brady Rouleau would stop 22 shots as the Cardinals stay undefeated on the season at 6-0. Gallery

Plattsburgh Flag Football Championship #1 T. Malianakas Masonry Vs #2 American Legion/SL Trucking November 16 2014

American Legion's Chris Fish (34) with the catch and turns and burns up the field. T. Malianakas Masonry would meet up with the American Legion/SL Trucking in the Plattsburgh Flag Football League Championship. The American Legion would take the 14-0 lead into the intermission. When the teams returned the story would change as Malianakas would give everything they had and win the half 13-0 but they would come up short and American Legion/SL Trucking would be crowned the 2014 champions with the 14-13 victory. Plattsburgh Flag Football T. Malianakas Masonry Vs American Legion/SL Trucking November 9 2014

American Legion's Trevor St. Clair (5) with the leaping catching in front of Maliankas's Chris Castine for the touchdown. It would be the final week of the regular season of the North Country Flag Football League and it would pit the top two teams in the league Malianakas Masonry Vs American Legion/SL Trucking. It would be a hotly contested game through and the American Legion would have the 7-6 lead at the break. When the team came back for the second half Malianakas would start hitting on offense and win the half 14-6 and with that would win the game 20-13 and clinch the regular-season championship. Next week will be the semi-finals and championship to crown the 2014 North Country Flag Football League Champion. Gallery

ECAC West Women's Hockey: #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Chatham Cougars November 16 2014

Plattsburgh State's Casey Leonard (31) makes the leg saves that she controls. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Chatham Cougars in ECAC West play. The Cardinals would waste no time putting their mark on the game scoring four times in the first for the 4-0 lead. Getting the goals in the first period would be Giovanna Sense, Melissa Ames, Bridget Baisley, and Katalin Turk. In the second period, it would be more of the same the Cardinals would light the lamp five times for the 9-0 lead. Getting goals in the second period would be Kayla Meneghin, Mia Favretto, Oliva Fox, Shannon Stewart, Kayla Meneighan (second of the night), and Giovanna Sense (second of the night). Then in third period, the Cardinals would win it 2-1 to secure the 11-1 victory. In the third period, the teams would trade goals to secure the 11-1 victory. Getting the goal for the Cardinals would be Kayla Meneighan to finish off the hat trick. In the winning effort, Camille Leonard would make 22 saves as the Cardinals go to 5-0-1. Gallery

North Country Flag Football League #2 American Legion/SL Trucking Vs #3 Northeast Monsters November 16 2014

Monster's Brandon Lalone splits the defenders for the big gain down the sidelines. The American/SL Trucking would meet up with the Northeast Monster in the semi-finals of the Plattsburgh Flag Football League. The American Legion would jump out to the 21-0 lead after the first half. In the second half, it would be the same story as the American Legion would outscore them 14-0 ad secure the 35-0 victory. With the win, the American Legion/SL Trucking would advance to the Championship against T. Malianakas Masonry. Gallery

New York State Class D Final Four: #19 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Harpursville Hornets Novemner 15 2014

Chateaugay's Gracie Harrigan (22) battles for the battle at the net with a couple of Harpursville defenders. The #19 Chateaugay Bulldogs would meet up with Harpursville Hornets in the New York State Final Four. This would be the third match of a round-robin tournament and the two teams would split the two setter 25-21 12-25. With that being the last game of the day the Bulldogs would finish 1-5 on the day in a tie for third place and finish there season at 21-3-1. Gallery

New York State Class D Final Four: #19 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Portville Panthers November 15 2014

Chateaugay's Caitlin Miller (23) with the spike from behind the attack down the middle for the point. The #19 Chateaugay Bulldogs would meet up with the Portville Panthers in their second match of the New York State Final Four. The Panthers would make easy work of the Bulldogs winning 25-9 and 25-12. With that result in the Bulldogs would be 0-4 on the day and 21-3 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Kim Reville (5) with the spike to the far side of the court for the point. The #19 Chateaugay Bulldogs would meet up with #16 and defending state champions Haldane Blue Devils in there opening match of the final four. The Haldane Blue Devils would show why they are defending champions they would win both sets 25-11 and 25-9. With that result in the Bulldogs would start there run at 0-2 and 21-2 on the season. SUNYAC Men's Hockey #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Buffalo State Bengals November 14 2014

Plattsburgh State's Michael Cassidy (26) slides the puck under the goalie for the cardinal's goal. The #5 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Buffalo State Bengals in SUNYAC play this would also be the home opener for the Cardinals. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead at the 8:36 mark on the Connor Gorman goal. Then just about a minute and a half later Zach Popp would score on the power play to make it 2-0 after the first period. When the second period opened the Cardinals would score two-goal in 39 seconds to make it 4-0 on Michael Rasida and Michael Cassidy's goals. Then at the 9:25 mark of the second Rich Botting would score on the power play to make it 5-0. Then just over two minutes later the Bengals would get on the board from Jake Rosen to make it 5-1. Then at the 15:35 mark of the second period, the Cardinals would regain there 5 goal lead on Brandon O'Quinn's go to make it 6-1. As the Cardinals would get the 6-1 victory. In the winning effort, Brady Rouleau would make 15 saves as the Cardinals go to 4-0 on the season. Gallery
