When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same and they would get the 54-41 victory. When the teams returned for the second half the defenses would be the name of the game as it would be 11-8 half as the Saints would get the 58-39 victory. The game would be low scoring throughout the first thanks to tight defense on both sides. The Bengals would take the slim the 28-27 lead into the break. In the second half, the Cardinals would solve the Bengals defense as they would outscore them 44-32 in the second half and get the 71-60 victory.
