Champlain Valley Athletics Conference - Week 4 - AuSable Valley Patriots Vs Saranac Chiefs - September 21st 2018
AuSable Valley's (32) with the interception in the endzone to save a touchdown. It would be week four of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and would feature Au Sable Valley Patriots and the Saranac Chiefs. The game would take time to get going but eventually the Chiefs would take the 7-0 lead on Connor Recore's 2 yard pass at 10:52 of the second quarter. The game would stay there til the second half when Au Sable's Evan Snow gets the 2 yard TD run to make it 7-6. Although the Chiefs would answer right back on the next drive on a 50 yard touchdown pass to Jacob Nolan to make it 13-6 at 6:14 of the third quarter. . Then at the 10:05 mark of the quarter the Chiefs would extend the lead to 21-6 on the 65 yard pass to Connor Recore, Then in the closing seconds of the third the Chiefs would put the game away on Jacob Nolan's 15 yard td pass to secure the 27-6 victory. With the win the Saranac Chiefs go to 3-1 while the Au Sable Valley Patriots falls to 0-4 on the season. Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference - Week 2 - Saranac Chiefs Vs Saranac Lake Red Storm - September 9th 2018
James Conway (22) fights through the leg tackle and gets the first down. It would be week 2 of the Champlain Valley Athletiec Conference football season and we would have the Saranac Chiefs Vs the Saranac Lake Red Storm. It would be a game that Chiefs had in control from the start. As Luke Maye would score twice while Jacob Nalon would have three and James Conway would get one as the Chiefs cruise to 44-0 victory. In the winning effort the Chiefs go to 2-0 while the Red Storm fall to 0-2 on the season. Gallery

Saranac Chiefs Vs Saranac Lake Red Storm - September 9th 2018
Saranac's Jacob Nolan (13) with the catch along the sidelines for the first down as part of a three touchdown day. It would be week 2 of the Champlain Valley Athletiec Conference football season and we would have the Saranac Chiefs Vs the Saranac Lake Red Storm. It would be a game that Chiefs had in control from the start. As Luke Maye would score twice while Jacob Nalon would have three and James Conway would get one as the Chiefs cruise to 44-0 victory. Section VII Wrestling Championships Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Wrestling February 10th 2018
Northern Adirondack's Trevor Gilmore with the hip toss on Peru's Elijah Seymour during the 113lb championships Seymour would get the eventual win. It would be Section VII Wrestling Championships from Saranac with all five schools competing for the right to head to the state finals in Albany. At the end of the day and the fifteen weight classes were done the team champion would be Saranac. As for the outstanding wrestler at the meet, the win would go to Chance Lapier from Ausable Valley. Section VII Wrestling Championships February 10th 2018
Saranac's Johnny Devins with the shoulder toss on Peru's Kellen Blake during the 152lbs finals. It would be Section VII Wrestling Championships from Saranac with all five schools competing for the right to head to the state finals in Albany. At the end of the day and the fifteen weight classes were done the team champion would be Saranac. As for the outstanding wrestler at meet, the win would go to Chris Lapier from Ausable Valley. #1 Saranac Chiefs Vs #3 Saranac Lake Red Storm October 28 2017
The Saranac Chiefs pose for there team photo as they are crowned the 2017 Section VII Class C Champions. It would be a rematch of last years Section VII Class C Championship as the Saranac Chiefs would meet up with the Saranac Lake Red Storm. The Chiefs would get the scoring going as Keegan Wood would score on the 32 yard run to make it 7-0. Although as the quarter ended the Red Storm would score on the 6 yard run from Swanson to make it 7-6. In the second quarter Luke Maye would score twice on 11 and 6 yard runs to make it 21-6 at the half. When the teams returned for the second half the Red Storm would score with 1:13 left in the third quarter on a 26 yard pass to Shipman. Although from there it would be lock down defense on both sides and the Saranac Chiefs would get the 21-12 victory for there first ever Section VII Class C title. With the win the Saranac Chiefs advance to the New York State playoffs and take on Ogdensburg in the first round. Gallery.

#1 Saranac Chiefs Vs #3 Saranac Lake Red Storm - Section VII Class C Championship - October 28 2017

It would be a rematch of last years Section VII Class C Championship as the Saranac Chiefs would meet up with the Saranac Lake Red Storm. Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Week 7 Beekmantown Eagles @ Saranac Chiefs October 14th 2017
Beekmantown's Sean Dixon (11) with the sliding catch along the sidelines for the first down. It would be the last week of the regular season in the C.V.A.C. and the Saranac Chiefs would host the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would get the first score of the game on a Matthew LaValley 2 yard run 2:53 into the first quarter. The Eagles would extend there lead in the closing minute of the first quarter on a Brandon Belrose 12 yard run for the 14-0 lead. In the second quarter Matthew LaValley would get his second score of the game on at 1 yard run at 6:55 of the second quarter for the 21-0 lead. Then in the closing seconds of the half, the Eagles would add a 21-yard field goal for the 24-0 lead at intermission. At the 9:59 mark of the third quarter the Eagles would extend the lead to 31-0 on a 19 yard run by Dylan Hazel. In the fourth quarter, the Eagles would end the scoring with a 17-yard pass to Evan Brunell for the 38-0 victory. In the winning effort, the Beekmantown Eagles go to 4-3 while the Saranac Chiefs fall to 4-3 on the season. Gallery

Saranac Chiefs Vs Beekmantown Eagles October 14th 2017
Beekmantown's Matthew LaValley (31) with the shoulder catch along the sidelines as he is turned around. It would be the last week of the regular season in the C.V.A.C. and the Saranac Chiefs would host the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would get the first score of the game on a Matthew LaValley 2 yard run 2:53 into the first quarter. The Eagles would extend there lead in the closing minute of the first quarter on a Brandon Belrose 12 yard run for the 14-0 lead. In the second quarter, Matthew LaValley would get his second score of the game on at 1 yard run at 6:55 of the second quarter for the 21-0 lead. Au Sable Valley Patriots Vs #12 Moriah Vikings October 13th 2017
Moriah's Braden Swan (1) steps in front of the route and intercepts the pass intended for Ausable Valley's Luis Perez (3). It would be the last week of the regular season and Ausable Valley would be hosting #12 Moriah Vikings. This would be a game that Vikings would be in complete control from start to finish. The Vikings would score twice in the first quarter on a couple 2 yard plays one to Jerin Sargent and the other to Connor Anderson for the 14-0 lead. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as the Vikings would score three more times. This time scoring would be Dewey Snyder 2 yard run, Jerin Sargent 85 yard strike, and Flack on a three-yard run to have the 35-0 lead at halftime. When the teams came back for the second the Vikings would step off the gas and coast through the second half getting just one more score to secure the 41-0 victory. In the winning effort, the Vikings finish the regular season at 6-1 while the Patriots go to 1-6. Gallery.
