The Sting would take the lead 8-7 at the break. In the third quarter, both team's offense would go fast down and back and would be tied at 22 as the entered the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Stings would score to more times, and their defense would shut down the Northstars offense and get the 38-22 victory to earn the Empire Football League Championship.
