Northeastern Clinton's (20) with the wrap around goal in the third period in traffic. It would be the #3 Plattsburgh Hornets hosting the #6 Northeastern Clinton Cougars in Section VII Division II Quarterfinals. The game would remain scoreless until the last minute of the first period when Plattsburgh's when Kurtis Olsen would light the lamp to make it 1-0. Then in the second period the Hornets would add another two more goals to make it a 3-0 game after the second period. Then just 2:30 into the third the Cougars would look to make it a game as Dayton Roberts would score to make it 3-1. Although the Hornets would answer right back with four of there own to make it 7-1 Hornets lead. The Cougars would get another one late but it wouldn't be enough as the Hornets get the 7-2 win. In the winning effort the Plattsburgh Hornets advance to the Semi-Finals where they get the waiting Beekmantown Eagles. Gallery.

Beekmantown's Josh McCauley (10) would tap in the saucer pass for the goal as he beats the goal stick sideIt would be a nonleague matchup at the Plattsburgh State Field House as the #4 Beekmantown Eagles would meet up with the La Salle Cadets. It would be a game that Beekmantown would be in control from the drop off the puck. The Eagles would get the opening goal of the night from Ryan Waterbury at 6:52 of the first to make it 1-0. Then just over a minute later they would extend the lead to 2-0 on Chris Wawrzynski's goal. Then at 10:31 mark of the first the Eagles would extend the lead to 3-0 on Josh McCauley's goal. Then with a couple of minutes left in the period, the Cadets would get on the board with a goal by Logan DiScanio to make it 3-1 Eagles after one. In the second period Beekmantown's Josh Barriere would score twice about two minutes apart to make it 5-1 after two periods. Then in the third period, the Eagles would continue there offensive onslaught Kyle Constantly would score at 2:28 to make it 6-1 Eagles. Then just 15 seconds later the Cadets Zach Watkins would score to make it 6-2. Then just over three minutes later Eagles Kyle Constantly would score his second of the night to make it 7-2. Then at the 8:32 mark of the third Kyle Constantly would finish off the hat trick to make it 8-2. Then at the 9-minute mark Mike Parent would get in on the act and make it 9-2. The Cadets would add a late one from Sam Brendesse to make it 9-3. Although it would not be enough as the Eagles would get the 9-3 victory. The player of the game would be Kyle Constantly who would have three goals and two assists on the night as the Eagles go to 9-0 on the season. Gallery

The Shaker Colonie Jets would get the opening goal 5 minutes into the game to make it 1-0. The game would stay there till midway through the second period when Saranac's Alex Zurio would score on the scramble in front of the net to make it 1-1. From there are on out the goalies would be up to the task as the game would end in 1-1 tie. The Chiefs with the tie go to 1-5-1 on the season. Gallery

The Pelicans would waste little time showing why they were in the final four a year ago as they would score six goals in the first period coming from Nat Heintz, Gibson Smith (twice), Nick Davidow (twice), Stefan Miklos. The Cougars would score in the final two minutes of the period to make it 6-1 on Devyn Sample's goal. In the second period, the teams would trade goals to make it 7-2 after two periods. It would be a section VII clash at the Field House between the Northeastern Clinton Cougars and the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would draw first blood on the goal by Josh Barriere at 4:25 of the first. The game would stay there all the way till the 7:25 mark of the second period when the Eagles would score two short-handed goals in six seconds from Josh Barriere and Ryan Waterbury to make it 3-0 lead. Then at 11:35 of the period, Josh Barriere would score to finish off the Hat Trick and make it 4-0. Then at the 12:32 mark, the Eagles would extend the lead to 5-0 on Josh McCauley's goal. Then the game would stay there till the 6:43 mark when the Cougars would answer with two goals in seconds to make it 5-2 on Alex Gonyo and Dayton Roberts's goals. Then thirty seconds later the Eagles would answer back with two goals in fourteen seconds from Ryan Waterbury to finish of the hat trick. Then at the 11:13 mark the Eagles would put the icing on cake with Nathan Trombley's first career goal in securing the 8-2 win. The Malone Huskies would host the Plattsburgh Hornets in nonleague action as there home opener. The game would remain scoreless until the last minute of the first period when the Huskies would make it 1-0 on Jordan Schrafs goal. The game would stay there till the 6-minute mark of the second period when Hornet's Devin Clarke would score to make it 1-1. The Huskies would regain the lead at 2-1 on Evan Keegan's goal at 12:59 of the second period. Then at 2:57 of the third period Huskies, Kyler Head would make it 3-1 with a shorthanded goal. Then at the 8:42 mark of the third, the Hornet's would do there best to get back in the game with a power-play goal by Andrew Bechard to make it 3-2. Although it wouldn't be enough and from there the Huskies would hold on for the 3-2 victory. In the winning effort, Malone's Joey Brown makes 28 saves and the Huskies go to 1-0 on the season.
