Then just over a minute later they would extend the lead to 2-0 on Chris Wawrzynski's goal. Then at 10:31 mark of the first, the Eagles would extend the lead to 3-0 on Josh McCauley's goal. Then with a couple of minutes left in the period, the Cadets would get on the board with a goal by Logan DiScanio to make it 3-1 Eagles after one. In the second period, Beekmantown's Josh Barriere would score twice about two minutes apart to make it 5-1 after two periods. Then in the third period, the Eagles would continue there offensive onslaught Kyle Constantly would score at 2:28 to make it 6-1 Eagles. Then just 15 seconds later the Cadets Zach Watkins would score to make it 6-2. Then just over three minutes later Eagles Kyle Constantly would score his second of the night to make it 7-2. Then at the 8:32 mark of the third Kyle Constantly would finish off the hat trick to make it 8-2. Then at the 9-minute mark, Mike Parent would get in on the act and make it 9-2. The Cadets would add a late one from Sam Brendesse to make it 9-3. Although it would not be enough as the Eagles would get the 9-3 victory.
