The game would be tight all the way throughout the game. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would have the offense working in the first half as they would have the 28-24 lead at the break. In the second half, it would be flipped and the Dragons would win the half 31-27 to force overtime with game locked at 55. In the extra minutes the Red Dragons would be too much for the Cardinals as they win it 13-10 and get the 68-65 victory.
