Renegades Robert Gordon (H20) and Zack Daniels (30) comes across the finish line during the first heat side by side under the checkered flag. It would be week 5 of racing at Airborne and it would be Riley Ford Night presented by Whelen with a Modified Double Feature. There would be a threat of rain over the track the whole evening but it would stay dry all night. The action on the track would be fast and hard charging throughout the night with a couple crashes on tap. When the smoke would settle the feature winners on the evening would be Kris Clark in the Mini-Modifieds, Richie Turner in the Renegades and Jamie LaFountain and Mike Wells in the Modifieds as they would be the seventh different winner in the division this season.

Modified Jamie LaFountain (20x) cuts the bottom in the middle of the turn and passes Greg Atkins (1NY) in the fender to fender battle. It would be week four of racing at Airborne Park Speedway as part of Peru Federal Credit Union/Econo Lodge Double feature night as all divisions would have two features. It would be some of the intense racing on the night as teams were fighting for the extra points and money. With that being said there would be a couple of wrecks and some damaged cars on the night. As for the winners on the night in the Modifieds, it would be Jayson Criss and Bucko Branham, Renegades would be Zack Daniels and Josh Terry and in the Mini-Modifieds it would be Chris LaVair and Tyler Irwin. Renegades Shawn Duquette (18) comes through the middle of a three-wide in turn one of Michael Wright (78) and Dylan Rabtoy (22) in the late stages of the feature. It would be week four of racing at Airborne Park Speedway as part of Peru Federal Credit Union/Econo Lodge Double feature night as all divisions would have two features. Kart Racing - Week 1 - 06-09-2015 - Highlights

After last week's Tuesday and Wednesday rain-shortened event, the Airborne Kart Racing season began with all 6 divisions racing for two different weeks. First was finishing up Week 1 action with Junior 1 Rookie Wyatt Dragoon, #21 from Plattsburgh, NY picking up the win and Nathaniel Guay, #55 from Moors, NY with the Junior 1 Pro win. Junior 2 Rookie winner was Ethan Baggs, #37 from Plattsburgh, NY and Junior 2 Pro winner Tanner Forbes, #29 from Jay, NY. An open Lightweight winner was Curtis Lamere, #91 from Burke, NY and Open Heavyweight winner Brian Fagan, #27 from Keeseville, NY. In Week 2 action: Colby Waite, #18 from Burlington, VT picks up the win in Junior 1 Rookie action and Ryan Bevins, #7 from Colchester, VT with the win in Junior 1 Pro action. In Junior 2 rookie action Ethan Baggs picks up his second win while in Junior 2 Pro Tanner Forbes picks up his second win of the day. In Open Lightweight action Curtis Lamiere picks up his second win of the day and in Open Heavyweight action Pat Patterson, #9 from Lake Placid, NY picks up the win. At the end of the double week action, Wyatt Draggon and Colby Waite are neck and neck in the Junior 1 Rookie point standings: Dragoon with 108 and Waite with 102. While in Junior 1 Pro Ryan Bevins and Nathaniel Guay are just one point from each other: Bevins at 106 and Guay at 105 points. In Junior, 2 Rookie Ethan Baggs leads by only 4 over Ethan Worley: Baggs at 109 and Worley at 105 points. In Junior 2 Pro Tanner Forbes has a 12 point lead over Brayden Rabtoy: Forbes at 110 and Rabtoy at 98. In Open Lightweight Curtis Lamere has a 2 point lead over Tobias Mason: Lamere at 108 and Mason at 106 points. Finally, Open Heavyweight Brian Fagan has a 3 point lead over Jeremy Bleaux: Fagan at 102 and Bleaux at 99 points. The highlights are available on the

Modifieds Jason Criss (30) and Brian McGinley (35) take wheel to wheel into turn one with no contact and make it out the other end. It would be the third weekend of racing at Airborne and the first in a month because of rain outs. One this night we would have the Plattsburgh Ford/Aaron Night Renegade 100 along with the Modifieds, Late Models and Mini Modifieds. It would be some good racing through out the evening with a lot of fender banging and some crashes. As far as the features would go Chris Lavair would win the Mini Modifieds. Then next on tap would be the Late Models and Bobby Therein and Josh Masterson would fight it out for most of the race with Bobby Therein getting the slight win. Then next up would be the Modifieds in a race would be hard to get started with many early race caution once things got settled down Jamie LaFountain would earn his first career victory. Then it would be time for the main event of the evening the Renegade 100 there would be nineteen cars that would take the green flag but when the checkered flag flew there would only be eleven cars left through the carnage the eventual winner would be Jason McClatchie to get career win number one. Renegade Ryan Boutin (28) makes contact with Jim Bushey (11) as they enter the first corner and the back tire comes right off the car as the sparks fly. It would be the third weekend of racing at Airborne and the first in a month because of rainouts. On this night we would have the Plattsburgh Ford/Aaron Night Renegade 100 along with the Modifieds, Late Models and Mini Modifieds. Peabody's Shane Perrotte (2) slides under the tag at home plate to extend there lead. It would be a mid-week battle between the Peabody Padres and Adam's Glass Dodgers at the Lefty Wilson field. The Padres would jump out to the quick 1-0 lead after the first inning. They would another run in the third inning to make it 2-0. Then in the fourth inning, the Dodgers would get on the board but the Padres would two more runs to make it 4-1. Then in the sixth, both teams would score again the Dodgers would get another single run while the Padres would add three and make it 7-2. The Padres would go on to win by that 7-2 margin and improve to 7-1 on the season. Gallery

It would be the start of the second rotation of the first half of the Adirondack Slow Pitch League and would feature the Store Tavern and Dragoon's Farm Equipment. It would be a sea-saw an affair with both teams trading the lead back and forth throughout the night. The Dragoon's Farm Equipment would end up getting the eventual win by a score of 15-13.
