Malone Huskies Jacob Henning (10) slides into the Plattsburgh Hornets goaltender after the shoot and they both end up in the net. The Malone Huskies would come short in there home opener losing 6-0 to the Plattsburgh Hornets in nondivision action. The Plattsburgh Hornets would get two-goal in each period for the win. The Huskies were just having a hard time getting anything going and fall to 0-2 on the young season. Gallery

Chateaugay Bulldog's Abby Barnes (24) crashes into the defender while going for the shot on net. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would start off there season with the 50-32 win over the Lisbon Golden Knights in nondivision action. Leading the way for the Bulldogs would be Courtney Boyea with 16 points. Also having a big night would be Caitlin Miller with 11 points and 15 rebounds. Plattsburgh State Cardinals Jordan Caldwell (27) takes it around the corner and avoids the trip by the Amherst Lady Jeffs defender. The #4 Plattsburgh Cardinals would host #7 Amherst Lady Jeffs in the Cardinals/Panthers Classic. The game would be scoreless through the first period. Then early in the second period the Lady Jeffs would take 1-0 lead and would add another one later in the period to the 2-0 lead heading into the final period. The Lady Jeffs would take the 3-0 lead early in the 3rd period. Then Cardinals would start there come back getting two goals within 2 minutes with still 8 minutes left on the clock. The comeback would come up a goal short on this day though and they would lose 3-2 With the lose the Cardinals fall to 5-1-1 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Jenny Kistner (8) swings it to outside to avoid the defender. The #8 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would get the 4-1 victory over the Buffalo State Bengals in ECAC-West play. The Cardinals would open up the scoring in the second on three goals coming from Alyssa Parke, Allison Era, and Jenny Kistner. They would add one from Emma Rutherford in the third period. The Bengals would get a goal late to make it 4-1. Sydney Aveson would stop 20 of 21 as the Cardinals improve to 6-2-1 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vick Schueleter (7) with the hard hit along the boards on the Oswego State defender. #6 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #2 Oswego State Lakers in the battle for first place in the SUNYAC's. Oswego would open up the scoring 6 minutes into the first. The Cardinals would answer back to tie the game at 1. in the second minutes of the 2nd period on the Paul Puglisi goal. Oswego would reassume the lead 5 minutes later. Then just 90 seconds later Alex Jensen would tie the game up for good.
