The game would start well for the Riverhawks, as they got the opening goal just 6:33 in from Dillan Bentley to give them the early lead. The Riverhawks would keep it going, extending their lead to 2-0 on Dalyn Wakelly's goal at the 13:39 mark of the 1st. The Saints would keep fighting back and score three goals in four minutes over the last 6 minutes of the first period to take the 3-2 lead into the intermission on goals from Cayden Casey, Rasmus Santilli, and Sam Frandina. The game would stay there until the 11:53 mark of the second period, when the Riverhawks would tie the game at three on Dalyn Wakely's 2nd goal of the evening. With 30 seconds left in the second period, the Riverhawks would regain the lead at 4-3 on the Jay Ahearn goal. The Riverhawks would keep it going early in the third period when Dillian Bently would get his second of the night to give the two goal lead again 5-3 at the 3:22 mark of the period. Then, at the 13:13 mark of the third period, the Riverhawks would make it 6-3 on one Chris Delaney goal. Then, with 14 seconds left in the game, Dalyn Wakely would complete his hat trick and cap off a 7-3 win for the Riverhounds, who finished the game with an unanswered goal. In the Riverhawks' winning effort, they will go to 5-8 on the seas. Austin Elliott made 40 saves.
