When the teams returned for the second half, the Spartans started to take control of the game with a 16-6 quarter and had a 36-20 lead as they went to the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Spartans would put the game away with a 13-9 quarter and secure a 49-29 victory. In the winning effort for the Spartans, Madison Gagnier would lead the way with 16 points as they went to 15-3 on the season and earned a spot in the New York State Class B Girls' Basketball Tournament.
