Amanda Ashline (5) hits Rachel Guyton (15) with the back end of her car hard into the front of Rachel Guyton's car and rides up onto the hood of the car. It would be time for the annual demolition derby at the Franklin County Fair in Malone. There would be a 100 cars divided up into 8 heats from 4 cylinders up to the mighty 8 cylinders along with the girl's heat and the popular truck heat. The eventual winner would be Joey Foster from Potsdam. There would be plenty of crowd-pleasing moments to keep the crowd there from start to finish. Gallery

Chad Overton and Grandpa's Truck stand it straight up as he starts dogging in just past the 250-foot mark. The Adirondack Truck/Tractor Pullers make their annual stop at the Franklin County Fair in Malone, NY for the truck and tractor pull. There would be around 120 hooks divided up into 21 classes. There would be a good size crowd in attendance in mist of the rain that would hold the show up a couple of times. There would definitely be some crowd-pleasing moments throughout the night. Gallery

Red Dog Too and Chris Bulriss carries the front wheels down the track in the Super Farm Tractor class. The Adirondack Tractor Pullers would have there annually Tractor Pull at the Franklin County Field Days in Highgate. There would be around 100 hooks in over 23 classes. It would be the normal all-day affair in front of a packed house. Gallery

Ma and Pa's Headache with Pat Silver on a power pass digging in past the 300-foot mark for a top-three finish in the 4x4 Truck class. The Adirondack Truck/Tractor Pullers make there annual trip to Highgate for the Franklin County Fair. There would be a record in attendance with over 6,500 to see the stock trucks, work trucks, 2.5 Cheater Trucks and 4x4 Trucks there would be 99 entries in the seven classes on the night. Gallery

Store Tavern's Matt Ormsby (12) with the diving catch in center field to save extra bases. The Store Tavern would take on Handy Dan Home Improvement in the Adirondack Slow Pitch League at the West Plattsburgh Legion. Handy Dan would take off to the quick start with a seven-spot in the first inning and from there on the Store Tavern would try and catch up and would at one point get back with one run. The late in the game Handy Dan Home Improvement would put another big inning together and get the 14-9 win. With the lose the Store Tavern falls to 5-10 on the season. Gallery

Lyon Mountain's Luke Weaver (24) with the leaping over the shoulder catch in center field. The Lyon Mountain Miners would meet the Fourth Watf Athletics in the deciding game three of the semi-finals today at Lefty Wilson Field in Plattsburgh. The Miners would rake control early and not look back as they would get one in the first. Then come back with three more in the second inning. With the quick 4-0 lead they would cruise through the rest of the game for the easy 7-1 victory and advance to the championship next weekend. In the winning effort, Dave Waldron would go the distance giving up one run while striking out five. Gallery

Fourth Ward's first baseman (7) with the full outstretch at first to complete the out. The Fourth Ward Cardinals would host the Meron's Expos in the deciding game of the series for the right to go the finals. The game would start of close as the teams would trade runs in the first to have a 1-1 game. From there on out the Cardinals would pour it on as the Expos just seemed to have an off day. The Cardinals would break the game open in the second with six runs for the 7-1 lead and from there they would cruise to the 14-3 win. With the win, the Cardinals advance to the Championship where they will take on the defending champion Lyon Mountain Miners in the best of three series. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars Vs Syracuse Shock July 27 2013

Plattsburgh's Jake Remillard (10) and Dan O'Meara (18) with the crushing tackle on the Glens Falls Brenden Frye (12). The Plattsburgh North Stars would travel down to Glens Falls and take on the Greenjackets. The North Stars would take the quick 7-0 lead when Dexter Geohagan would run back the opening kickoff. Then they would strike again on there next drive on a long Touchdown pass to Dexter Geohagan to make it 14-0. Then the remainder of the first half the Greenjackets would charge back getting 10 points to make it 14-10 North Stars at intermission. When the teams would return for the second half the North Stars would extend there lead to 20-10 on Chris Fish's touchdown. The North Stars would strike again on Dexter Geohagan's third touchdown of the night to make it 26-10. The Greenjackets would do there best to try and get the win at the end scoring twice but the North Stars would hold on for 26-24 victory. With the win, the North Stars will go to 5-3 on the season with their regular-season finale against the Watertown Red & Black. Gallery

Clinton County Fair Truck/Tractor Pull July 20 2013

Wild Thing and Dwayne News is on a straight shot down the track during 6,200lb Pro Stock 4x4 Trucks B Class where he went 298 feet and took fourth place. The Adirondack Truck and Tractor Pullers would return for the annual pull at the Clinton County Fair in Plattsburgh. The pull would happen in front of a packed house and they would witness a great show. There would be just under 100 entries divided into 20 classes. There would be lots of runs throughout the night that would keep the crowd on the edge of there seats. The tour will move onto Highgate, Vermont in a couple of weeks at the Franklin County Field Days. Gallery

Clinton County Fair Street Truck Pull July 19 2013

Jack Chamberlain and his 2010 Toyota Tundra take it down the track chewing up the loose dirt from the rain earlier and sending it skyward. It was that time of year again the Street Truck Pull at the Clinton County Fair brought to you by the Adirondack Truck & Tractor Pullers. There would be around 80 entries that would be divided into seven classes all the way from the stock truck to the mighty 2.6 Cheater Trucks. There would be many good runs throughout the night and very minimal damage. One of the exciting moments that happened had to be the hard rainstorm that came and dropped at least an inch of water in a matter of minutes. The pull would be halted for about an hour they would rip the track and back pulling we would go. Congratulations to all the different winners throughout the night and for a great show for everyone.
