The Eagles would take control right from the beginning and not look back. They would take the 14-6 lead after the first quarter. The eagles would get two more touchdowns in the second quarter to make it 28-6 at the break. Then in the second half, the Eagles would step up there defense and make the Chiefs have a few turnovers as they would into the endzone two more times to make a 42-6 final. Beekmantown's Zack Myers (15) is tackled from behind and taken out of bounds by a couple of Saranac defenders. The Saranac Chiefs would fall short at home as they would lose 28-6. The game would remain scoreless until the three-minute mark of the second quarter when Zack Myers would find Haydin Fountain for the score and take the 8-0 lead. The Eagles would strike again with a rushing touchdown with 34 seconds left in the half and take a 14-0 lead into the locker room. Then when the teams came back out for the 2nd half the third quarter would be a track meet with the Eagles scoring twice one a Zack Myers QB sneak and on a long TD pass to Haydin Fountain. The lone Saranac score would come on a 63 TD Pass. That is where the score would remain till the end with the win Eagles go to 2-0 and the Chiefs 1-1 on the season.

The Saranac Chiefs would defeat the Beekmantown Eagles 6-5 ton win the 2012 Section VII Class B Championship at Chip Cummings field. The Chiefs would get on the board with a 2 run rbi single by Kasey Favreau for the 2-0 lead. The Eagles would answer back to tie it at the top of the third at 2. Although at the bottom of third the Chiefs would get four runs to get the 6-2 lead. Then in the fourth inning, the Eagles would cut the lead in half at 6-4. Then in the seventh inning, the Eagles would get 1 and leave the baseloads as the Chiefs would get the 6-5 victory. In the winning effort, Tanner Rascoe would go 6 2/3 while striking out and Ben Weightman would come into getting the last two outs for the to save for there first sectional title in 4 years Gallery

It would be the Saranac Chiefs meeting up with Beekmantown Eagles in the semis of the Northern Football Conference Class B playoffs. It would be a tight game through the first half as the Eagles would take a 14-0 lead in the break. Then on the opening drive of the second half, the Eagles would score and that would end it for the Chief. As the Eagles would go to score twice more and get the 34-0 victory.
