The #4 Plattsburgh Cardinals would host #7 Amherst Lady Jeffs in the Cardinals/Panthers Classic. The game would be scoreless through the first period. Then early in the second period the Lady Jeffs would take 1-0 lead and would add another one later in the period to the 2-0 lead heading into the final period. The Lady Jeffs would take the 3-0 lead early in the 3rd period. Then Cardinals would start there come back getting two goals within 2 minutes with still 8 minutes left on the clock. Oswego would open up the scoring 6 minutes into the first. The Cardinals would answer back to tie the game at 1. in the second minutes of the 2nd period on the Paul Puglisi goal. Oswego would reassume the lead 5 minutes later. Then just 90 seconds later Alex Jensen would tie the game up for good. The Plattsburgh would defeat the Geneseo State Ice Knights 2-0 to finish off the weekend sweep. Plattsburgh State Cardinals Ryan Farnan (44) tries to stuff it in on the short side of the net for the goal. Although he would get a hat trick in the game. The #6 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Brockport State Golden Eagles for the home opener of the season. The Cardinals would make easy work of the Golden Eagles gaining the 5-1 victory. Chateaugay Bulldog's Alexis Beach (2) would slide her way in front of the Chazy Eagles defender to keep the ball in the offensive zone. The Chateaugay Bulldogs run at a state title comes to end in the quarterfinals with a 2-1 defeat to the Chazy Eagles. The Chazy Eagles would get the opening with 5 minutes left in the first half. It would take till the 20th minute of the second half to tie it up on Kelly Favreu's direct kick. The Chazy would come storming back to get the eventual game-winner about a minute later ending the Chateaugay Bulldogs season.

Chateaugay Bulldogs' Alexis Beach (2) carries the ball down the sidelines past a Parishville-Hopkinton defender as part of her two-goal night. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers 2-1 in a game that would be very physical and spirited among the players and fans. In the winning effort, the Alexis Beach would get both goals. In awards after the game, the Bulldogs would have 5 people named to the first team all-conference team along with sweeping the defensive and offensive MVP with Shelby Coleman and Courtney Boyea.

The Malone Huskies team celeberates as they recieve there throphy for winning the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be the Malone Huskies hosting the Potsdam Sandstoners in the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be a close game through out the first half as both teams would trade scores back and forth with the Huskies taking at 27-20 lead into the break. Although when the second half would start the Huskies would show there dominance as they would score four times in the third quarter to end up getting the 48-20 victory. In the winning effort John Picarco would have a three touchdown day. With the win the Malone Huskies advance to the state playoffs against Brunt Hill next weekend at Stillwater High School.Gallery

Saranac Chief's Nate Bedell (81) with the leaping catch over the middle of the field using those fingertips. It would be the Saranac Chiefs meeting up with Beekmantown Eagles in the semis of the Northern Football Conference Class B playoffs. It would be a tight game through the first half as the Eagles would take a 14-0 lead in the break. Then on the opening drive of the second half, the Eagles would score and that would end it for the Chief. As the Eagles would go to score twice more and get the 34-0 victory. With the lose the season comes to end for the Chiefs with a 6-3 record. As the Beekmantown Eagles advance to the Class B Championship against the Peru Indians at Ausable Valley. Gallery

The bulldogs would get the straight-set victory 25-3, 25-13, 25-9. With the win, the Bulldog's make the return trip to the Section X Class D finals on Friday in Canton against the winner of Tupper Lake and Edwards-Knox. Gallery

Malone Huskies Megan Taverina battles with the Canton Golden Bear midfielder along the sidelines. As the Malone Huskies would go onto defeat the Canton Golden Bears 1-0 on an own goal late in the first half. With the win, the Malone Huskies improve to 8-7 overall and 3-4 in the central division.
