Peabody Padres Vs Adam's Glass Dodgers June 4 2015
The Dodgers runners would be called safe on this play saying he got around the tag from Padres Chris Narkwackia (7) you be the judge. It would be a mid-week battle between the Peabody Padres and Adam's Glass Dodgers at the Lefty Wilson field. The Padres would jump out to the quick 1-0 lead after the first inning. They would another run in the third inning to make it 2-0. Then in the fourth inning, the Dodgers would get on the board but the Padres would two more runs to make it 4-1. Then in the sixth, both teams would score again the Dodgers would get another single run while the Padres would add three and make it 7-2. The Padres would go on to win by that 7-2 margin and improve to 7-1 on the season. Gallery.
Store Tavern Vs Dragoon's Farm Equipment June 3rd 2015
Store Tavern's Steve Myers slides around the tag at home plate and is safe at the plate. It would be the start of the second rotation of the first half of the Adirondack Slow Pitch League and would feature the Store Tavern and Dragoon's Farm Equipment. It would be a sea-saw an affair with both teams trading the lead back and forth throughout the night. The Dragoon's Farm Equipment would end up getting the eventual win by a score of 15-13. Peabody Padres Vs Adam's Glass Dodgers June 2 2015
Peabody's Matt Ormsby (13) with the diving catch in center field to steal a base hit. We would have a mid-week game in Champlain Valley Baseball League action to start week four of the season between the Peabody Padres and Adam's Glass Dodgers. The Dodgers would get the early lead 1-0 after the first inning. They would add a pair of runs in the second to make it a 3-0 lead. At the bottom of the third, the Padres would get on the board to make it 3-1. Then in the fourth, the Padres would have a big inning plating four runs to take the 5-3 lead. Then in the fifth, the Dodgers would get one to make it 5-4 game. Then in the sixth, they would get two runs to regain the 6-5 lead. Then at the bottom of the seventh, the padres would get two including the game-winning headfirst slide by Shane Perrotte at the plate to get the 7-6 victory. In the winning effort, Matt Rivers would go the distance for the victory as the Padres go to 6-1 on the season. Gallery.
Store Tavern Vs Labatt Blue Light Lime May 29th 2015
Store Tavern's Jason Favaro (3) with the backhanded stop on the ball up the middle and goes to second for the out. It would be another night Adirondack Slow Pitch as the Store Tavern and Labatt Blue Light Lime would go to battle. It would start out low scoring as it would be 2-1 Store Tavern after the second inning. Then the flood gates would open for both teams as the Labatt Blue Light Lime would get the 13-8 victory. Store Tavern's Matt Rivers (88) slides in at the plate but can't beat the tag as he is called out. It would be another night of Adirondack Slow Pitch's action. As the Store Tavern would meet up with Fessette Realtors. It would be another low scoring game as the Store Tavern's defense would be up to the challenge and get the 6-3 victory. Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #1 Cortland State Red Dragons April 24th 2015
Plattsburgh State's Jack Tolosky (10) steps on second base to start the double play. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #1 Cortland State Red Dragons in SUNYAC doubleheader action. It would not be a very good day for the Cardinals. In the first game, the Red Dragons would score multiple runs in seven of the nine innings. The best inning for the Cardinals would be the ninth when they would score four runs in the inning. With that being said the Red Dragons would cruise to the 25-8 victory in game one of the doubleheader. In the second game of the doubleheader the Red Dragons would get one in the first, three in the second, and one in the sixth and seventh to secure the 6-0 win. With the Cardinals getting sweep they would fall to 12-19 on the season. Gallery.
Store Tavern Vs Pound Town Softball May 22nd 2015
Store Tavern's Devin Barry with the scoop on the grounder to second and fired to first for the out. It would be another night of Adirondack Slow Pitch Softball action this time pitting the Store Tavern and Pound Town Softball. It would be a defensive games as both teams would be on their game. In what would be one of the lowest scoring slow pitch games the Store Tavern would get the 3-2 victory. With the win, the Store Tavern would go to 4-4 on the season. Gallery
The Store Tavern Vs Leroux Fuels May 19th 2015
Store Tavern's Matt Rivers (88) with the catch on the riser to deep left field for the out. It would be game 7 of Adirondack Slow Pitch League and it would pit the Store Tavern and Leroux Fuels. It would be a game that Store Tavern would take control of from the start to finish with some help with some costly errors by Leroux Fuels. With that being said the Store Tavern would get the 21-9 victory to go to 3-4 on the season. Gallery
Saranac Chiefs (JV) Vs Beekmantown Eagles (JV) May 18 2015
Saranac's Justin Burdough (24) with the tag at the Eagle trying to slide in. It would be the last JV game of the season and it would match up the Saranac Chiefs and the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would jump out to a 8-1 lead after the fourth inning. Then the Chiefs would slowly start crawling there way back into the game as they would get a couple in the fifth to make it 8-3. Then in the sixth they would great three more to make it 8-6. Unfortnately though the rain would start coming and hard and the game would be called after the sixth inning to give the Eagles the 8-6 victory. Gallery.
Bill McBride ACT Spring 115 Presented by Interstate Batteries Airborne Park Speedway Plattsburgh, NY May 17 2015
Three wide racing during the Modified feature race between Danny Sullivan (3), Bucko Branham, and Eric Lurizone (28) as they come off of turn two. It would be week two of racing at Airborne Park Speedway with the Mini-Modifieds, Renegades, Modifieds and the feature event the ACT Bill McBride Spring Green 115 presented by Interstate Batteries. The race event was originally scheduled for the night before but was moved back the cause of bad weather. The drivers would come out to play and play hard on Sunday as the only walk away winner would be Dale O'Neill in the Mini-Modifieds. The in the second feature of the day it would be Leon Gonyo taking the checkered flag as he was chased hard by Nick Heywood throughout the race. The next up would be the Renegades features and that would feature a couple of late-race restarts and would see Josh Terry hold on against Shawn Duquette at the finish line for a photo finish victory. Then it would be time for the main event of the afternoon the ACT Spring Green 115 and it would be a two-man race between Joey Polewarczyk and Patrick Laperle and the progressive banking would allow them to go side by side for many laps with the eventual win going to Joey Polewarczyk. The drivers of airborne are off until May 30th when the Mini-Modifieds, Renegades, and Modifieds (Double Feature) will take to the take with the Endro Series.
